Fraternity & Sorority Life Community Report Florida Atlantic University Greek Life Community Report - Spring 2009 Greek Life Community Report Exectuive Summary In addition to our fraternities & sororities, this report is sent to stakeholders to inform them about the FAU Greek Community. On the reverse side is the statistical report for Spring 2009. Scholarship: A Closer Look The FAU Greek GPA is not above the FAU Undergraduate GPA (2.70 vs. 2.87) The average semester GPA for new member classes within the College Panhellenic community: 2.78 The average semester GPA for new member classes within the Interfraternity Council community: 2.43 The average semester GPA for new member classes within the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC): 2.33 Congratulations Alpha Nu Omega, Delta Tau Delta, and Sigma Phi Epsilon each achieved an overall GPA above the overall FAU Undegraduate Male GPA Alpha Xi Delta and Lambda Theta Alpha each achieved an overall GPA above the overall FAU Undegraduate Female GPA Standards of Excellence 2009 The following chapters received 5-Star Status in the following Standards of Excellence categories: Civic Engagement: Delta Phi Epsilon Intellectual Advancement: Alpha Xi Delta Membership Development: Alpha Xi Delta & Delta Phi Epsilon Relationship Building: Alpha Xi Delta & Sigma Phi Epsilon Values Congruence: Alpha Xi Delta Overall 5-Star: Alpha Xi Delta Leadership Greek Life Leadership Development Programs included the President's Leadership Experience in Jan. 2009 Conduct Cases Theta Phi Alpha was charged with violations of the Student Code of Conduct (Results pending a hearing).
