Two different galaxies are compared: the most famous local merger, the Antennae systems (on the left), and the most intriguing of the blue compact galaxies, Haro 11 (on the right). In spite of the different physical (the Antennae is ∼ 18 Kpc across, whereas Haro 11 is ∼ 4 Kpc) and dynamical scales, the shapes of the two galaxies resemble each other. After an idea by R.
