SCREENING AND TESTING

• Primary Health-care centres spread across the 18 LGAs, with 62 designated screening centres

• Private Health-care centres across Benin City with 40 designated as screening centres across

Benin City.

• Mobile Screening centres across 6 LGAs, with 78 Screening point spread across respective wards: 12 wards respectively in and Etsako-West LGA, 10 wards respectively in ,

Ikpoba-Okha, and Ovia North-East LGA.

• 64,200 persons have been screened via mobile screening centres, with 2,361 suspected cases with samples collected. 51% Male screened and 49% Female.

• 212,000 persons screened via the fixed screening centres (Private and Primary Health-care

Edo won the National Sports Festival hosting right after putting up a good performance at the last event in Abuja. Edo Queens, our female football team. He gave them a brand new bus as well as other forms of support. The new Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, the ongoing construction of 20 mini-stadia across the state 5 of the mini-stadia have be completed and the enormous support that Bendel Insurance FC has received Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium

The Edo State Government has purchased additional tricycle ambulances to facilitate the provision of quality healthcare services to residents in rural areas of the state.

Training and empowerment of over 77,000 people across the 18 local government areas (LGAs) of the state. We have 13, 227 N-Power beneficiaries; 15,679 pupils in 146 schools and 179 cooks under the School Feeding programme. For our Conditional Cash Transfer Programme, we have 11, 994 beneficiaries.

For the Market-Moni, we have 4009 beneficiaries; in Trader-moni, we had 45,000 people and for our Edo Startup Fund we have 20 beneficiaries who have got the funds but we have trained over 2,000 people. For the N-SIP Hubs, we have had over 20 people beneficiaries. In total we have had over 77,000 people who have benefitted from the Edo State Social Investment Programme

The Benin Central Park, an ultra-modern transport terminus in the heart of Benin City, the Edo State capital, aimed at transforming Edo State’s transport sector for efficient city commute service, is nearing completion in the city centre. The park, which is being constructed at the Obakhavbaye axis of Ring Road, is the brain-child of the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration to bring a new lease of life to the city’s transport scene, providing bespoke transport experience to travellers commuting to and from Benin City. AGRICULTURE SECTOR FARMERING: Over 50,000 persons, including farmers, logistics operators and food processors, have benefitted from agricultural programmes implemented by the Governor. Supported farmers spread across different locations in the state, including Agenebode, Warrake, Usugbenu, Iguoriakhi, Illushi, Iguomo, Oria, Udo, Ekpoma, Ozalla, Ome-Ora, Agbede, Evbonogbon and Sobe. Over 10,000 hectares of rice, maize, cassava, soybean, and other crops are being cultivated in Agenebode, Warrake, Usugbenu, Iguoriakhi and Sobe. “There were over 55,000 young beneficiaries while nearly 20,000 jobs were created under the initiative.” “In addition, the Edo Food and Agriculture Cluster in Ehor, Uhunmwode LGA has benefitted over 1,300 farmers. FISHING: Over 370 farmers in seven clusters across Edo State have benefitted from the distribution of over 370,000 fingerlings under the state government's Agripreneur programme, as part of deliberate policies by the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration aimed at ensuring food security and wealth creation. some of the fish farmers, who were grouped in clusters, received as much 100, 000 fingerlings, noting: Some of these clusters include the Agricultural Development Agency (ADP) catfish farm for Libya Returnees, 100,000; Ute, 70,000; Temboga, 100,000, and the Iyekoyi fish farm, 100,000, among others" Over 100 Fish ponds (Tarpulin vats) have been constructed including other production infrastructure and equipment such as water boreholes, electrical generators for 50,000 catfish production enterprise with 70mt (fresh weight) of fish expected.

HOUSING WELCOME TO EMOTAN GARDEN ESTATE BENIN CITY, EDO STATE

The first housing project in the state in over 17 years, has been completed. It is being developed by the Obaseki-led government through the Edo Development and Property Agency (EDPA) and Mixta Africa, a renowned real estate firm. The estate comprises of a mix of housing options that are affordable to the public. The houses in the first phase have been fully occupied and EDPA is progressing with the second phase.

Repositioned Ambrose Alli University into a world class institution with full compliments of infrastructure and human capital investments to drive research and development. The administrative blocks, library, hostels, faculties, perimeter fencing and interior access roads.

The governor was able to drive contributions from his friends and investors including Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote through counterpart funding and of course the transparent and accountable governance of Obaseki's administration also attracted TETFUND.
