Islamabad is the ninth largest city in Pakistan, while the larger Islamabad– Rawalpindi metropolitan area is the country's fourth largest with a population of about 3.1 million. Travel from Islamabad to Shogran via Kiwai. Reached shogran in evening. Overnight stay in Shogran. Day 2 Shogran is a hill station situated on a green plateau in the Kaghan Valley, northern Pakistan at a height of 2,362 metres (7,749 ft) above sea level. It is located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Shogran is located at a distance of 34 kilometres away from Balakot. Siri Paye is situated at a height of almost 9,498 feet, Siri Paye meadows is an unforgettable sight because the view from there includes a glimpse of Makra Peak, Malika Parbat, and the mountains of Kashmir. Morning breakfast at hotel. Leave for Siri Paye via jeep. Enjoy at siri paye. Return to shogran. Then proceed to Naran. Overnight stay at naran. Day 3 Naran is a medium-sized town in upper Kaghan Valley in Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located 119 kilometers from Mansehra city at the altitude of 2,409 meters (7,904 ft).It is located about 65 kilometer away from Babusar Top. It is a popular tourist attraction locally as well as internationally. Lulusar Lake is a lake at 3,410 m (11,190 ft), and is the primary headwaters of the Kunhar River. It flows southwest through the entire length of Kaghan Valley, passing Jalkhand, Naran, Kaghan, Jared, Paras and Balakot until its confluence with the Jhelum River. It is located about 50 kilometres away from Naran and is accessible by any kind of vehicle. Babusar Pass or Babusar Top is located at elevation 4,173 metres or 13,691 feet. It is a mountain pass in Pakistan at the north of the 150 km long Kaghan Valley, connecting it via the Thak Nala with Chilas on the Karakoram Highway (KKH). It is the highest point in the Babusar Valley that can be easily accessed by cars. At an elevation of 3,224 m (10,578 feet) above sea level, the lake is located above the tree line, and is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. Morning breakfast at hotel. Day 5 Balakot is a town in Mansehra District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located on the right bank of the Kunhar River. It is almost at two-thirds of the length of river from it its origin at Lake Dharam Sar deep in the Kaghan Valley, before it confluence with Jehlum River. River Kunhar, is a 166 kilometres long river, located primarily in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northern Pakistan. It is in the Indus River watershed basin. Morning breakfast at hotel. The mosque features a contemporary design consisting of eight sides of concrete shell and is inspired by the design of a typical Bedouin tent. The Pakistan Monument is a national monument and heritage museum located on the western Shakarparian Hills in Islamabad, Pakistan. Amongst the parts used, the results showed that the whole plant of most of them viz. thirty-two, the leaves of twenty-seven, the stem of twelve, and the fruits of nine taxa were used for different purposes. The governing families of the study area were Rosaceae Family consisting of thirteen taxa, solanaceae having five taxa, Buxaceae, Verbenaceae, Lamiaceae, Acanthaceae having three taxa each, Papilionaceae, Berberidaceae, Buddlejaceae, Anacardiaceae, Thymelaceae, Sapindaceae, Araliaceae, Guttiferae, Oleaceae, Cupressaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Poaceae, Rhamnaceae, Rutaceae, Caprifoliaceae keeping two taxa, and the rest of all the families contained one taxa, each was recorded in the study area. Check List of Medicinal Plants of Siran Valley Mansehra-Pakistan Ghulam Mujtaba Shah And Mir Ajab Khan* Department of Botany, Govt Post Graduate College, Abbottabad *Department Of Plants Sciences, Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad-Pakistan Issued 27 February 2006 ABSTRACT This study was carried in Siran Valley district Mansehra. (Pakistan). The method adopted for documentation of indigenous knowledge was based on questionnaire consisting of semi-structured interviews employing a checklist of questions and direct observations. The aim of the study was to collect indigenous knowledge of local inhabitants about the use of native plants, which were being utilized by the people for the treatment of different diseases. The ethnomedicinal uses of 80 plant species belonging to 49 families were recorded during field trips from the research area. The cultivated medicinal plants consists of 21 species. The check list and ethnomedicinal inventory was developed alphabetically by botanical name, followed by local name, family, part used and ethnomedicinal uses. Plant specimens were collected, identified, preserved, mounted and voucher was deposited in the Department of Plant Sciences, Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad for future references. In South Asian countries, the tourism industry is an engine of economic development and GDP growth. This study investigates the impact of tourism on Pakistan’s economic growth and employment. The period under study was from 1990 to 2015. To check whether the variables under study were stationary, augmented Dickey–Fuller and Phillips–Perron unit root tests were applied. A regression technique and Johansen cointegration approach were employed for the analysis of data. The key finding of this study shows that there is a positive and significant impact of tourism on Pakistan’s economic growth as well as employment sector and there is also a long-run relationship among the variables under study.

In the NW Himalaya and South Tibet, Cretaceous-age blueschists (glaucophane-, lawsonite- or carpholite-bearing schists) formed in the accretionary wedge of the subducting Neo-Tethys. Microdiamond and associated phases from suture-zone ophiolites (Luo- busa and Nidar) are, however, unrelated to Himalayan subduction–collision processes. Deeply subducted and rapidly exhumed Indian Plate basement and cover rocks directly adjacent to the suture zone enclose eclogites of Eocene age, some coesite-bearing (Kaghan/Neelum and Tso Morari), formed from Permian Panjal Trap, con- tinental-type, basaltic magmatic rocks. Eclogites with a granulite-facies overprint, yielding Oligocene–Miocene ages, occur in the anatectic cordierite ± sillimanite-grade Indian Plate mostly significantly south of the suture zone (Kharta/Ama Drime/Arun, north Sikkim and NW Bhutan) but also directly at the suture zone at Namche Barwa. The sequence carpholite-, coesite-, kyanite- and cordierite-bearing rocks of these different units dem- onstrates the transition from oceanic subduction to continental collision via continental subduction. The gran- ulitized eclogites in anatectic gneisses preserve evidence of former thick crust as in other wide hot orogens, such as the European Variscides.
