1.5 Turn LEFT into Eridge Park Rd.
2.7 Continue through roundabout into Old South Rd.
Continue through the next three roundabouts remaining on Old South Rd.
9.6 Note the old cemetery on your RIGHT.
11.6 Continue past Mittagong Aerodrome.
18.0 Turn RIGHT at the T intersection into Old Hume Highway.
Continue down Catherine Hill and pass through villages of Yerrinbool (22.4) and Yanderra (29.2).
30.8 Turn LEFT at the T intersection into Remembrance Drive.
34.4 Continue through Bargo.
41.0 Turn LEFT into Bargo River Rd which for a very short stretch was part of the original Hume Highway.
44.4 Cross the Tourist Railway at Couridjah.
44.5 Turn LEFT at the T intersection into West Pde.
Continue through the villages of Buxton (47.3) and Balmoral (53.5) remaining on what is now Wilson Drive.
57.3 Cross the deepest railway cutting in the Southern Hemisphere.
From Hilltop (60.5) to Colo Vale you are travelling through the old railway cuttings on the formation of the original Main South single railway line.

67.5 Cross the Freeway and immediately turn RIGHT at the roundabout to enter the Hume Highway heading towards Mittagong.
69.2 Take the exit LEFT into the Old Hume Highway.
75.6 At the traffic lights in Mittagong veer RIGHT remaining on the Old Hume Highway.
Continue on the Old Hume Highway passing Highland Fair Shopping Centre on your RIGHT (76.6).
78.4 Move to the RIGHT lane and continue on the Old Hume Highway (do not enter the Freeway).
80.1 Turn RIGHT into Wombeyan Caves Rd.
87.7 Turn LEFT into Greenhills Rd.
96.3 Turn RIGHT at the T intersection into the Old Hume Highway and follow into Berrima.
97.3 Turn RIGHT to park at the Surveyor General Inn for lunch. There is more parking available over the road.
