The inaugural International Martitime Defense Exhibition and conference, hosted by the Ghana Navy will remain Africa’s largest and only gathering of maritime defense experts and will take place biennially moving forward. The intention of creating IMDEC remains to cater the issues of piracy, illegal fishing, smuggling, human trafficking etc and promote joint operations. In attendance to the event will be 15+ Chief of Naval Staffs from the African continent along with 300+ senior maritime officials who intend to use this event as an opportunity to meet with their peers and suppliers for their future requirements.
