TV Movie The Good Witch‘s Charm Just believing in magic can sometimes be enough With her heavy workload as mother of an infant, stepmother of a sensitive teen, wife of a busy sheriff, successful shopkeeper and mayor of Middleton, good witch Cassie Nightingale sometimes uses a little magic to get places faster. But when one of her “disappearing acts” is caught on video and goes viral, Cassie is stuck in a far from enchanting situation. Named one of the ten most charming towns in North America, Middleton should be attracting tourists; but thanks to the hotly discussed video, it’s drawing reporters like Henry Kael, who is bent on exposing Cassie as a fraud. Meanwhile, Cassie’s estranged foster mother Doris suddenly shows up in Middleton, and finds reporter Henry much to her liking – until he starts publishing mean-spirited articles on Cassie and the town in general. While Cassie copes with the abuse in her soothing, conciliatory way, her stepdaughter Lori, who feels lonely and rejected by her classmates, gets involved with a boy and girl who have been committing a series of thefts – and hiding the stolen goods in Lori’s house! It’ll take more than a bit of magic to solve all these problems and restore the good name of Middleton and of Cassie Nightingale!
