Indiana’s general election will be held on November 6, 2018. In addition to local elections, one United States Senate seat and all of Indiana’s nine seats in the United States House of Representatives are up for election. At the state level, three candidates for statewide office, twenty-five (of fifty) state senators, and all of Indiana’s one hundred state representatives are up for election. This Voter’s Guide provides a list of BUILD-PAC and Indiana Builders PAC-supported candidates. For information about voting and polling locations, visit https://indianavoters. in.gov/. Indiana Builders PAC, Indiana Builders Association’s political action committee, is an essential part of IBA’s advocacy program. Indiana Builders PAC maximizes political contributions by association members by supporting pro-housing candidates and incumbents for both statewide office and the Indiana Legislature. It is through voluntary contributions that Indiana Builders PAC can help preserve a positive political climate for the residential construction and development industry in Indiana. All contributions to Indiana Builders PAC are voluntary and are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Paid for by the Indiana Builders PAC. *Incumbent IBA Member CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATES SUPPORTED BY NAHB BUILD-PAC U.S. Congress - House of Representatives District# Candidate 2 Jackie Walorski (R)* 3 Jim Banks (R)* 4 Jim Baird(R) 5 Susan Brooks (R)* 6 Greg Pence (R) 8 Larry Bucshon (R)* 9 Trey Hollingsworth (R)* STATE CANDIDATES SUPPORTED BY INDIANA BUILDERS PAC Secretary of State Connie Lawson (R)* Auditor of State Tera Klutz (R)* Indiana General Assembly - Senate District# County(ies) Candidate 4 LaPorte, Porter Karen Tallian (D)* 6 Benton, Lake, Newton Rick Niemeyer (R)* 11 Elkhart, St. Joseph Linda Rogers (R) 14 Allen, DeKalb Dennis Kruse (R)* 15 Allen Liz Brown (R)* 17 Grant, Huntington, Wabash, Whitley Andy Zay (R)* 19 Adams, Blackford, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Wells Travis Holdman (R)* 21 Clinton, Grant, Hamilton, Howard, Tipton James Buck (R)* 22 Tippecanoe Ron Alting (R)* 23 Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Vermillion, Warren, Boone Phil Boots (R)* 25 Delaware, Madison Tim Lanane (D)* 26 Delaware, Henry, Madison Mike Gaskill (R) 27 Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Randolph, Union, Wayne Jeffrey Raatz (R)* 29 Boone, Hamilton, Marion Mike Delph (R)* 31 Hamilton, Marion James Merritt, Jr. (R)* 38 Clay, Vigo Jon Ford (R)* 39 Clay, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, Owen, Sullivan Eric Bassler (R)* 41 Bartholomew, Johnson Greg Walker (R)* 43 Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley Chip Perfect (R)* 45 Clark, Jackson, Jefferson, Scott, Switzerland Chris Garten (R) 46 Clark, Floyd Ron Grooms (R)* 47 Crawford, Dubois, Harrison, Orange, Perry, Washington Erin Houchin (R)* 48 Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Pike, Spencer, Warrick Mark Messmer (R)* 49 Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh Jim Tomes (R)* Indiana General Assembly – House of Representatives District# County(ies) Candidate 2 Lake Earl Harris, Jr (D)* 4 Porter Ed Soliday (R)* 5 St. Joseph Dale DeVon (R)* 7 St. Joseph Joe Taylor (D)* 13 Benton, Fountain, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Tippecanoe, Warren, White Sharon Negele (R)* 15 Lake Hal Slager (R)* 16 Fulton, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski Douglas Gutwein (R)* 17 Fulton, Marshall Jack Jordan (R)* 18 Grant, Kosciusko, Miami, Wabash David Wolkins (R)* 19 Lake, Porter Julie Olthoff (R)* 20 LaPorte, Starke Jim Pressel (R)* 21 Elkhart, St. Joseph Tim Wesco (R)* 23 Cass, Fulton, Miami Ethan Manning (R) 24 Boone, Hamilton Donna Schaibley (R)* 25 Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Tippecanoe, White Don Lehe (R)* 27 Tippecanoe Sheila Klinker (D)* 29 Hamilton Chuck Goodrich (R) 30 Grant, Howard Mike Karickhoff (R)* 31 Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Wells Kevin Mahan (R)* 32 Delaware, Grant, Hamilton, Howard, Madison, Tipton Tony Cook (R)* 36 Madison Terri Jo Austin (D)* 37 Hamilton Todd Huston (R)* 38 Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Howard Heath VanNatter (R)* 39 Hamilton Jerry Torr (R)* 41 Boone, Montgomery, Tippecanoe Tim Brown (R)* 42 Clay, Fountain, Parke, Vermillion, Vigo, Warren Alan Morrison (R)* 44 Clay, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam Beau Baird (R) 45 Daviess, Greene, Knox, Sullivan, Vigo Bruce Borders (R)* 46 Clay, Monroe, Owen, Vigo Bob Heaton (R)* 48 Elkhart Doug Miller (R)* 49 Elkhart Christy Stutzman (R) 50 Allen, Huntington, Wells Daniel Leonard (R)* 51 LaGrange, Steuben Dennis Zent (R)* 52 Allen, DeKalb, Steuben Ben Smaltz (R)* 53 Hancock, Madison Robert Cherry (R)* 57 Bartholomew, Hancock, Shelby Sean Eberhart (R)* 58 Johnson Woody Burton (R)* 60 Monroe, Morgan Peggy Mayfield (R)* 62 Daviess, Greene, Martin, Monroe Jeff Ellington (R)* 63 Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Pike Shane Lindauer (R)* 64 Gibson, Knox, Pike, Posey, Vanderburgh Matt Hostettler (R) 65 Brown, Jackson, Johnson, Lawrence, Monroe Chris May (R)* 66 Clark, Jefferson, Scott Terry Goodin (D)* 67 Dearborn, Decatur, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland Randy Frye (R)* 68 Dearborn, Franklin, Union Randy Lyness (R)* 69 Bartholomew, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings Jim Lucas (R)* 70 Clark, Floyd, Harrison Karen Engleman (R)* 71 Clark Matt Owen (R) 72 Floyd Ed Clere (R)* 73 Clark, Harrison, Jackson, Lawrence, Orange, Washington Steve Davisson (R)* 74 Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry, Spencer Steve Bartels (R)* 75 Pike, Spencer, Warrick Ron Bacon (R)* 76 Posey, Vanderburgh Wendy McNamara (R)* 77 Vanderburgh Ryan Hatfield (D)* 78 Warrick, Vanderburgh Holli Sullivan (R)* 79 Adams, Allen, Wells Matthew Lehman (R)* 80 Allen Phil GiaQuinta (D)* 81 Allen Martin Carbaugh (R)* 82 Allen, Elkhart, LaGrange, Noble, Whitley David Abbott (R)* 83 Allen, Whitley Christopher Judy (R)* 84 Allen Bob Morris (R)* 85 Allen Dave Heine (R)* 88 Hamilton, Hancock, Marion Brian Bosma (R)* 89 Marion Cindy Kirchhofer (R)* 90 Marion Mike Speedy (R)* 91 Hendricks, Marion Robert Behning (R)* 93 Johnson, Marion David Frizzell (R)* 94 Marion Cherrish Pryor (D)* 97 Marion Justin Moed (D)* 100 Marion Dan Forestal (D)*.
