21.10.2014TLX2 antibody (pAb)

Rabbit Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat T-cell leukemia 2 (HOX11L1, NCX)

Instruction Manual

Catalog Number PK-AB718-7373 Synonyms TLX2 Antibody: T-cell leukemia homeobox 2, homeobox 11-like1, HOX11L1, neural crest homeobox , NCX Description The Hox play a role in patterns of embryonic development and cellular differentiation by regulating downstream target . TLX2, also known as homeobox11-like 1 (HOX11L1), is a DNA-binding nuclear that appears to be crucial for the development of the peripheral nervous system. TLX2 is a downstream target of regulation by both PHOX2A and PHOX2B proteins during intestinal neuronal differentiation. In humans, loss-of-function of TLX2 may play a role in tumorigenesis of gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Quantity 100 µg Source / Host Rabbit Immunogen TLX2 antibody was raised against an 18 amino acid peptide near the amino terminus of human TLX2. Purification Method Affinity chromatography purified via peptide column. Clone / IgG Subtype Polyclonal antibody Species Reactivity Human, Mouse, Rat Specificity TLX2 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other TLX proteins. Formulation Antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Reconstitution During shipment, small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial. For products with volumes of 200 μl or less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a hard surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container’s cap. Storage & Stability Antibody can be stored at 4ºC for three months and at -20°C for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures. Applications E, WB, IHC, IF |Note: Antibody might be suitable for other applications not tested so far. Optimal concentrations for each application have to be determined indivudually. TLX2 antibody can be used for detection of TLX2 by Western blot at 0.5 - 1 µg/mL. Images Available upon request.
