ALL THIS IN A MAD CULTURE THE CULTURE THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE EU DNA PRINCIPLES DNA EU WELCOME | 09 CONGRATULATIONS, EU BUSINESS SCHOOL CLASS OF 2015!

Dear friends,

You hold in your hands not only a magazine, but a wonderful chronicle of the spectacular commencement ceremonies that took place across the EU Group network in the summer of 2015.

Looking through this magazine it is diffi cult for me not to be struck by what a truly international, diverse and happy family we have at EU – not to mention, one that looks great dressed up!

It brings me great pleasure to see the different faces and places that make up the EU network woven and brought together in one place, mere pages apart. Naturally, you will open this magazine and search for the section that is relevant to you; when we see a photograph of ourselves and friends, it is always our own face that we search for fi rst. After you have found perhaps your own face, or that of a friend or family member, and look at those around you, it will strike you just how many others are on a similar journey to your own.

That’s what makes commencement ceremonies special: so many people coming together and celebrating the achievements of not only their loved ones, but of other families and students.

As you go forward in your lives, I encourage you to take the time to savor the moments and times like those chronicled here. Time goes by quicker than you imagine. The 2015 EU Group Commencement Magazine sums up a selection of wonderful days; days that were the culmination of years of dedication, determination and hard work.

As the door to your next chapter opens, I hope that you cherish this magazine as an enduring reminder of a fantastic occasion, far into the future.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the EU alumni network is a fantastic tool that provides a lasting link between yourselves and your classmates. Keep in touch, and I look forward to hearing where your journey takes you.

With best wishes for the future,

Blancpain’s historical connection with diving and underwater exploration reaches back more than half a century to 1953, with the development of the world’s fi rst modern diving watch: the Fifty Fathoms. Honoring this heritage, Blancpain has dedicated itself to the cause of conservation and safeguarding of the oceans. The brand’s endeavors in this realm are united under the Blancpain Ocean Commitment label. EU COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES | 2015 66 | ALUMNI ASSOCIATION LETTER

A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO GRADUATES

Dear Graduates,

Your network is waiting! In the spring of 2013, during the celebrations of the EU Group's 40-year tenure, the network launched its revamped platform to keep EU graduates connected – the Alumni Association.

Since its conception, the association has brought together alumni in dozens of cities around the globe for lectures and networking events with plans to continually expand opportunities for EU alumni.

How it works: The EU Alumni Association, although affiliated with EU, is an independent entity. It is run by a board and has a president.

The Board advises EU on suitable policies and strategies that can be used to support its alumni association. Members act as representatives of the EU network, establishing alliances and partnerships with a wide range of institutions.

Chapter leaders, located in different regions around the world, act as liaisons between their local alumni and the association. They represent local alumni communities and their interests; recruit new members; and help EU strengthen their connection with their alumni.

Why join? For recent graduates, the Alumni Association acts as an excellent resource when searching for career prospects. Students can connect with EU alumni in their area and begin networking immediately.

For new entrepreneurs, the association opens up a potential contact base of professionals who share the same values and principles, a solid foundation to any relationship.

The EU Group's Alumni Association holds regular networking events, exchanges, presentations, talks and seminars designed to further-promote connections between EU alumni who are active members of the international business community.

If you would like to join the EU Alumni Association, visit www.alumni.euruni.edu or for further information, please e-mail [email protected]
