This year the FLS team travelled across the stunning French Alps and Haute-Savoie in search of spectacular panoramic views, quiet country roads and of course breathtaking climbs so that in 2014 we can offer you the same experience! That’s right, next year we are giving you the opportunity to join us for the ride of your life. Below is just a taste of what we have in store for those brave enough to... Take the Leap!

In 2014, FLS invites you to take the leap and share this experience as you test your limits on some of the most prestigious Cols of the Alps. In 2014, FLS is taking a NEW leap and offering you the opportunity to compete in one of two GRAN FONDO cycling events, the Etape du Tour and Gran Fondo La Marmotte. Listed as the top two international Gran Fondos, we believe that these events will be a truly magnificent experience!

In order to secure your place in either of these events deposits must be paid no later than October 2013.

The Etape du Tour Gran Fondo La Marmotte Gran Fondo La Marmotte is a Cyclo Sportive in the French Alps The Etape du Tour is your opportunity to ride a stage of the which takes place on the first Saturday of July each year. The greatest cycle race of them all, the Tour de France. Normally event always starts from Le Bourg d'Oisans, at the foot of the the route will be one of the Alpine or Pyrenean stages of the Alpe d'Huez climb, and it finishes after 174km on the top of the Tour de France with various degrees of difficulty depending Alpe. On the way you will encounter four tough climbs on the year. including, Le Col du Glandon, Col du Télégraphe, Col du The route is announced at the same time as the route of the Galibier and Alpe d’Huez, all of which have featured on

Tour de France. The official announcement will take place in numerous occassions in the Tour de France. Paris on the 23rd of October 2013, so be sure to complete the entry forms as quickly as possible due to the popularity of the event. Distance: 174km Distanc e: 128km in 2013 Participants: 7000

This includes visits and activities, such as kayaking, rustic cooking courses, hot air ballooning, competing in a GRAN FONDO cycling event and exploring historic monuments and sites. You may also choose to

absorb the culture with trips to local cafés and quaint regional markets. Remember our riding options are flexible allowing you to ride as little or as much as you like. If you need some ‘pamper time’, take a day off to relax and immerse yourself in the local environment.
