My mother's name was Kim il Soon. There was a person who took care of me and my mother. I think I was between 3 to 5 years old and could not remember his name except Pop. I knew I was not his son but he let me call him Pop. He left and we never heard from him. There were two military bases in Kwangju, army and air force, but I think he was in the a0ir force. I remember because he took us to movies and shopping in the base. I would love to hear from him. I am an Amerasian and now living in U.S. and would love to look him up. I was so upsetby my fathers suffering in Korea and that of all veterans that served there I set up my own website at www.thekoreanwar.co.uk to try and bring stories from veterans by their own words. This woman should be a politician as she clearly has her head up her own rear end and doesn't listen to the hard facts. Shame on you. God bless all those KW veterans wherever they are and to those in all wars past and present and future.
