Significant Operational Accomplishment 1. 50 GRAMS OF SHABU SEIZED BY ANTI-DRUGS OPERATIVES A Drug Personality was arrested during the conduct of buy-bust operation at Cor. Zamora and Juan Luna Streets, Brgy. 25, Tacloban City on July 3, 2017 at around 01:30 PM. The suspect was identified as Melanio Ponferrada Jr. y Setosta, 43 y.o., male, butcher, and resident of Brgy. 99, Diit, Tacloban City. Purchased and seized during the operation were three (3) pcs. heat-sealed plastic transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 50.0 grams with an estimated market value of Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (P400,000.00). Ponferrada will be charged for violations of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165. 2. WARRANT OF ARREST IMPLEMENTED AGAINST A WANTED DRUG PERSONALITY A Wanted Drug Personality was arrested during the implementation of Warrant of Arrest at the suspect’s residence on July 15, 2017 at around 09:30 PM. The suspect was identified as Noel Cortez y Sembrero, 43 y.o., male, and resident of Cogon, San Jose Tacloban City. The suspect managed to elude arrest during the conduct of Buy-bust Operation of February 27, 2017 at Brgy. 95, Caibaan, Tacloban City. Cortez will be charged for violations of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165. 3. BRGY. KAGAWAD AND COHORT NABBED BY ANTI-DRUG OPERATIVES A high Value Target and chort were arrested during the conduct of buy-bust operation at North Hill, Brgy. 106 (Suhi), Tacloban City on July 13, 2017 at around 04:00 PM. The suspects were identified as Bryan Parina y Maturan, Brgy. Kagawad of Brgy. 33, Tacloban City, 40 y.o., male, single and resident of Juan Luna St., Tacloban City; Reggie Duero y Roa, 23 y.o.,male, with live-in partner, and resident of Brgy. 59-A, Sampaguita Tacloban City; and Edmund Caparoso alyas “Good Morning” who elude the arrest. Purchased and seized during the operation were five (5) pcs. heat-sealed plastic transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 2.0 grams with an estimated market value of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00), and various drug paraphernalia. Parina will be charged for violations of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165, and Duero will be charge for violations of Sections 5 and 11. 4. PDEA TARGETLISTED AND HIGH VALUE TARGET INCARCERATED TOGETHER WITH COHORTS Three Drug Personalities were arrested during the conduct of buy-bust operation at Hilongos Port, Hilongos Leyte on June 24, 2017 at around 06:30 PM. The suspects were identified as Manuel Enage y Adobas (PDEA Targetlisted), Regular employee at Province of Southern Leyte as Computer Operator, 36 y.o., male, married and resident of Brgy. Tunga-Tunga, Maasin City; Arnold Napalan y Alberca, 36 y.o.,male, single, Seafarer, and resident of Urok San Pedro, Maria Clara, Maasin City; and Leoera Canales y Tampus, 24 y.o.,male, single,welder and resident of Brgy. Pahina Central., Cebu City. Purchased and seized during the operation were three (3) pcs. heat-sealed plastic transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 5.02 grams with an estimated market value of Forty Six Thousand Pesos (P46,000.00). Enage will be charged for violations of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 26 (Conspiracy), while Napalan will be charge for violation of Section 11 and 26, and Canales for violation of Section 26, Article II of RA 9165. 5. SUPERVISOR ON WATER DISTRIBUTION IN TACLOBAN CITY BUSTED FOR SELLING SHABU Another High Value Target was arrested during the conduct of buy-bust operation at Brgy. 71 Naga-Naga, Tacloban City on July 26, 2017 at around 05:45 PM. The suspect was identified as Roger Arcenas y Rubillos (HVT- Government Employee/Admin Aide I at LGU of Tacloban City), 58 y.o., male, married and resident of Block 16 Kassel Homes, Brgy. 71 Naga-Naga, Tacloban City. Purchased and seized during the operation were four (4) pcs. heat-sealed plastic transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.2740 gram with an estimated market value of One Thousand Pesos Three Hundred Seventy (P1,370.00) and drug paraphernalia. Arcenas will be charged for violations of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia), Article II of RA 9165. 6. LGU DRIVER BAG BAY ANTI-DRUG OPERATIVES Another High Value Target was arrested during the conduct of buy-bust operation at Brgy. 81, Marasbaras, Tacloban City on July 26, 2017 at around 08:00 PM. The suspect was identified as Jurald Bacunawa y Yu (HVT- Government Employee/Driver at LGU of Tacloban City), 39 y.o., male, married and resident of Brgy. 82 Marasbaras, Tacloban City. Purchased and seized during the operation was one (1) pc. heat-sealed plastic transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.10 gram with an estimated market value of Five Hundred Pesos (P500.00). Bacunawa will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165. 7. ANOTHER GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE NABBED; ELEVEN SACHET OF SHABU SEIZED Another High Value Target was arrested during the conduct of buy-bust operation at Lot 15, Block 5, St. Andrew Subdivision, Brgy. 78 Tacloban City on July 26, 2017 at around 09:00 PM. The suspect was identified as Filemon Ralph Tamayo y Gariando (HVT-Government Employee/Internal Audit Office at LGU of Tacloban City), 37 y.o., male, married and resident of Brgy. 62-B, Harmony Lane Bliss, Sagkahan, Tacloban City. Purchased and seized during the operation were eleven (11) pcs. heat-sealed plastic transparent sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 9.0 grams with an estimated market value of Forty Five Thousand Pesos (P45,000.00) and various drug paraphernalia. Tamayo will be charged for violations of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia), Article II of RA 9165. .
