Meanwhile, committees are accepting dean applications in the education and fine arts schools until Feb. 15. But, because the pharmacy school could close July 1, “It would be impossible to attract a candidate,” Habbe said in ah interview. UM President James Koch included pharmacy and six other UM programs on a list of pro­ posed eliminations that could take effect at the end of the fiscal year unless the Legislature in­ creases university funding.
