Bhagavad Ramanujacharya Sri Manavala Mamunigal Swami Vedanta Desikan Shriman Madhwacharya
Utsava moorthies of Sri Rama Parivar, Rangamannar & Goda Devi, and their ardent devotees, namely Bhagavad Ramanujacharya (1017-1137), Madhwacharya (1238-1317), and Ramanujacharya’s principal successors, Sri Manavala Mamunigal (1370-1443) and Swami Vedantha Desikan (1268-1369) will be consecrated in Livermore temple. HCCC celebrated Ramanujacharya’s Millennial birth anniversary in 2017. Ramanuja propounded the Vashista Advaita philosophy of Hinduism, emphasized bhakthi marga and established the Srivaishnava sampradaya of Vishnu- Mahalakshmi worship. Bhagavad Ramanujacharya’s principal successors are Sri Manavala Mamunigal & Vedantha Desikan. Both are celebrated poet scholars in Sanskrit & Tamil and head the Tenkalai and Vadakalai denominations that emphasize the Vedas and Divya Prabhandham. Shriman Madwacharya propounded the tattvavAda, (popularly known as Dvaita) philosophy and established the Udupi Shri Krishna maTha & the mAdhwa sampradaya.
All four acharyas emphasized bhakti marga centered on Vishnu worship for attainment of moksha. This is a Deeksha event. Devotees are encouraged to sponsor samprokshana for their deities of interest.
