St. Peter's Catholic School Uniform Policy 2020-2021 School Year St. Peter’s Catholic School Uniform Policy 2020-2021 School Year DRESSED FOR SUCCESS Student behavior and work ethic are generally improved when students wear uniforms. Uniforms also serve the practical purpose of safety since students are easily identifiable and persons not in uniform are easy to spot on our campus. Also, parents may find that wearing a uniform can get children out of the door more easily in the mornings! Please be sure that your children are properly uniformed each day. Failure to adhere to the uniform policy will result in a uniform violation. A student acquiring 3 uniform violations in the 9-week grading period will receive a disciplinary note. WHERE TO BUY Our provider for the daily uniform is Flynn O’Hara Uniforms. Uniform pieces should be purchased from Flynn O’Hara (www.flynnohara.com). They carry every piece necessary for both boys and girls. Uniform pieces should be clean, in excellent condition, and replaced as wear occurs. To order, go to www.flynnohara.com and create an account. Parents will need to enter our state (SC) and our school (St. Peter Catholic School- Beaufort, SC). *We are implementing a PE uniform this year. We have a webstore for our Spirit Wear that will be used for PE uniforms. Visit our online store to order your uniforms: https://stores.inksoft.com/saint_peters_catholic_school/shop/home The dress code at St. Peter’s Catholic School requires that students wear the prescribed school uniform every day (see below). If it is necessary to wear corrective shoes, please inform the school office. Take pride in your appearance at all times, being well-groomed does make a difference in performance! NOTE: Girls must wear navy blue bike shorts under jumpers and skirts every day. All students must wear gym shoes, with navy blue or white socks, (no “no-shows”), on PE day. Please note the addition of a red fleece jacket. This fleece is a required uniform item. In cooler or cold weather, students must wear navy blue cardigans, vests, or the red fleece jacket with St. Peter’s Catholic School embroidered on it. No other pull overs, sweatshirts, jackets, or coats may be worn, with the exception of raincoats, when it is raining. Dress Up/Dress Down Days Certain days of the year are designated for dress up or dress down days. On these days, students may wear street clothes, but they are reminded that neat, modest attire is expected. All students must wear gym shoes if the dress- down day is PE day. • Our Lady of the Valley Catholic School Uniform Policy and Dress Code
Our Lady of the Valley Catholic School Uniform Policy and Dress Code Our Lady of the Valley Catholic School (OLV) requires that all students wear uniforms. Students are to adhere to the OLV dress code at the School and at School functions. This policy is a visible sign of membership in the OLV community. Inside the school, uniform dress is a reminder to students of their equal importance and their common goals. Outside the School, students represent OLV to the public; they represent the School’s name by their attire, the School’s values by their behavior. Uniform guidelines are outlined on the reverse side of this document. The dress code is based on the School’s standards of decorum, good taste, cleanliness, modesty, neatness, and safety. The Principal will determine when a student's appearance is in violation of the code and may confiscate non-conforming articles. The Principal must approve any exceptions to the code. Students should dress in “Sunday Best” when attending mass on Fridays. This will consist of a dress shirt and dark tie for boys. Shirts must be tucked in and pants must be worn with a belt. Girls may wear a jumper or skirt with a blouse that is tucked in. There are several stores in the valley and Anchorage, including Wal-Mart, Sears, and Target that carry the required clothing items. Please make your purchases at these stores only so that we maintain color and style consistency. For those who wish to purchase uniforms online, or through a catalog, we are enrolled with the following programs.

  • CONN-AREA CATHOLIC SCHOOL Uniform Policy 2019-2020
CONN-AREA CATHOLIC SCHOOL Uniform Policy 2019-2020 Research shows that the teaching/learning process is enhanced in a structured environment. A dress code plays a significant influence in this environment. It is imperative that students adhere to the dress code to the detail. Conn-Area Catholic School maintains four “dress code” policy designations: I. Regular Uniform Day II. Formal Attire Day III. Gym Uniform Day IV. Non-Uniform Day Each one carries its own set of requirements. Please pay close attention to the details. VIOLATIONS OF THE DRESS CODE In the event that a student is in violation of the dress code, they will receive a “Dress Code Violation” notice. This notice will be sent home in the child’s Parent/Teacher Communicator and will be scanned to the family’s email. Beginning on the fourth violation, the child will lose recess each day they are out of uniform. If the violations continue beyond a total of seven days, the child will sit in the office until the parents bring him/her a change of clothes. A BOLD violation may also require them to need a change of clothes, even before the seventh violation, if it is deemed necessary. A student will not be excused from consequences even though their parent accepts personal blame. Thank you for your support in having your child adhering to the uniform policy. EXTENDED DRESS CODE Students may be required to adhere to the school dress code during school related events that are not occurring during regular school hours. To download a listing with photos, you can navigate to your custom site via the following: https://www.frenchtoastschoolbox.com/schoolbox/schools/conn-area-catholic-school- QS4MN6 I.
