St. Robert Catholic School - Uniform Policy All students enrolled in St. Robert Catholic School must wear uniforms according to the policy below. School uniforms encourage discipline, help students resist peer pressure, diminish economic and social barriers between students, and increase a sense of belonging and school pride. Students must be in uniform each school day unless specifically excused. Uniforms are purchased through Lands End Uniforms, the link is available on the St. Robert School website. Items not listed below are not approved dress code and if worn, will reflect in the student’s Citizenship grade. Dress Code: Tops: All tops must have the official school logo and purchased from Lands End Uniforms • Short or long sleeved white or burgundy school logo polo shirt • Long sleeved white school logo dress shirt (optional tie may be worn) • In 2013-2014, the previous year’s SRS logo polo shirts may be worn, only if in new condition • Optional crew neck solid white short sleeved undershirt may be worn under the official school shirt • Tops must be tucked in at all times Outerwear • Burgundy school logo v-neck pullover sweater • Burgundy school logo v-neck pullover vest • 8th Graders may wear their 8th Grade Class Sweatshirt (not during Mass) • Optional: school logo jacket (the only coat/jacket which may be worn indoors) Bottoms • Girls: Lands End burgundy/gray plaid jumper, skirt, or skort (must be of appropriate length, no sweatpants or yoga style pants under jumpers or skirts) • Boys and Girls may wear khaki pants and shorts ordered through Lands End Uniforms or another supplier as long as they fit the following criteria: o Khaki twill form fitting Docker- style pants (no cargo, no Capri length) o Khaki twill form fitting Docker-style short (no cargo, no shorter than 4”above knee) • Plain black or brown belt must be worn • Pants must be worn at the waist level Shoes • Black, brown, gray, white or navy dominant colored athletic shoes • Black or brown dress shoes (no boots) • All shoes must have toes and heels enclosed and be fastened securely around the feet Socks • Boys: White or black solid colored quarter or crew length socks • Girls: White or black solid colored quarter, crew, knee-high, or tights • Socks must be worn and seen (no bare style or lower than the ankle) Jewelry • Religious jewelry, worn in a manner appropriate for school • Watch (without calculator function) • Wristbands promoting special causes may be worn when specifically excused • No more than two small stud earrings per earlobe PE Uniform • PE uniforms are worn only on designated P.E. days and not when students attend Mass • All PE tops and bottoms must have the school’s PE logo and be purchased from Lands End • In 2013-2014, the previous year’s white PE logo t-shirts may be worn, only if in new condition • Black, brown, gray, white or navy dominant colored athletic shoes General • Hair must be clean, combed, off the face, and worn in a style appropriate for school • Boys must be clean shaven • No make-up, no fingernail polish or false nails, no tattoos • Winter hats, scarves, coats, jackets and hoods may only be worn outside the classroom Final discretion of dress and grooming is left to the administration. .
