BRED-BY-EXHIBITOR CLASS 12 MOS. & UNDER 18 MOS AMERICAN-BRED CLASS NOVICE CLASS OPEN CLASS BEST OF BREED WINNERS DOG AND WINNERS BITCH COMPETITION NON-REGULAR CLASSES (involving single dog entries) VETERAN DOG VETERAN BITCH For dogs or bitches seven (7) or more years of age. Neutered dogs and spayed bitches are allowed to compete in Veteran Classes BEST OF BREED COMPETITION GRAND CHAMPION - Select . Grand Champion points may be awarded to BOB, BOS and Select Dog and /or Select Bitch . All Dogs chosen for Select must be Champions of Record. NON-REGULAR CLASSES (involving multiple dog entries) STUD DOG BROOD BITCH Stud Dog Class - For dogs that have sired at least two dogs or bitches entered in this show. The award will be based on the merits of the get. The owner of the Stud Dog need not be the owner of the get. Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and shown in the ring with his get. As the decision of the judge in this class will be based on the merits of more than one dog, no one of the dogs making up the entry judged First in this class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. Brood Bitch Class - For bitches that have whelped at least two dogs or bitches entered in this show. The award will be based on the merits of the produce. The owner of the Brood Bitch need not be the owner of the produce. Brood Bitch must be entered in the Brood Bitch Class and shown in the ring with her produce. As the decision of the judge in this class will be based on the merits of more than one dog, no one of the dogs making up the entry judged First in this class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. SPECIAL! 4 to 6 Month Beginner Puppy Class One combined class is being offered for Entlebucher Mountain Dog for dogs and bitches that are (4) four months & under (6)six months. There will be a selection of Best of Breed 4 & Under 6 Months Beginner Puppy and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed 4 & Under 6 Months Beginner Puppy. ENTLEBUCHER MOUNTAIN DOGS AUGUST 2015 5 SWEEPSTAKES ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes shall be open to any Entry eligible for competition in the regular AKC classes whose age will be no less then six months and no greater than eight- een months on the day of judging. Dogs shown in Sweepstakes must also be en- tered in one of the Regular Classes. The exception to this rule is as follows: NO DOG WHICH HAS COMPLETED THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A CHAMPI- ONSHIP PRIOR TO THE DATE OF JUDGING SHALL COMPETE IN THE JUDGING OF THE SWEEPSTAKES. CLASSES: PUPPY (6 & UNDER 9 MONTHS.) JUNIORS (12 - 15 MONTHS) PUPPY (9 & UNDER 12 MOS.) JUNIORS (15 - 18 MONTHS) The Sweepstakes classes shall be divided into eight age classes. Four for each sex (as named below) and a class to determine Best in Sweepstakes and Opposite Classes will be provided for both dogs and bitches. BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES: Shall be chosen from the winners of each of the eight above classes. BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX TO THE BEST OF SWEEPSTAKES : Shall be chosen from the seven remaining class winners. DIVISION OF ENTRY MONEY AS PRIZES 25% of total entry fees will be retained by the Club for expenses. 75% will be divided as follows: 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 4 or more entries 40% 30% 20% 10% of entry fees for that class 3 entries 50% 35% 15% of entry fees for that class 2 entries 60% 40% of entry fees for that class 1 entry 100% of entry fees for that class 6 RIBBON PRIZES REGULAR CLASSES FIRST PLACE ............. Dk Green Rosette ADDITIONAL RULES THE WELFARE OF AN EXHIBITOR'S CHILD is to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the day of the show. EXHIBITORS AND HANDLERS will be held responsible for keeping the premises clean around their crates and set-ups. DO NOT LEAVE DOGS IN CLOSED VEHICLES. Any unsupervised dogs in distress may be removed from a vehicle by whatever means if necessary. By entering this show the owner, exhibitor or handler agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the NATIONAL ENTLEBUCHER MOUNTAIN DOG ASSOCIATION or it’s members in the event a motor vehicle must be entered to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation. THIS CLUB DOES NOT AGREE TO ARBITRATE CLAIMS AS SET FORTH ON THE OF- FICIAL AKC ENTRY FORM FOR THIS EVENT NEW CHAMPIONS Any dog that finishes its championship according to the owners records may be trans- ferred up to 30 minutes before the start of judging.
