All islanders are invited to join in the fun as the Fort TMyers Miracle takes on the Charlotte Stone Crabs. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., the pre-game parade around the ballfield starts at 6:15, and game time is 7:05. Tickets are free and available at Bailey’s General Store and most island businesses. Sanibel Historical Museum Now On Summer Hours he Sanibel Historical Museum & Village is now on summer hours through Saturday, August 4. Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday Tthrough Saturday. The museum will be closed from Sunday, August 5 through Tuesday, November 6, and will reopen on Wednesday, November 7 for full days, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Be sure to come back next season to see the new addition to the village – Shore Haven, a 1924 Sears kit home that sat on the bay next to our own Morning Glories (1926),” said museum president Alex Werner. “We expect Shore Haven to arrive at the village shortly and restoration will begin over the summer. When it gets here, two historic Sanibel homes will be reunited at our village.” The Sanibel Historical Museum & Village is a non-profit organization formed with the mission to preserve, protect, share and celebrate Sanibel’s history. It is located at 950 Dunlop Road, next to BIG ARTS. Adult admission is $5 and people under age 18 and members are free.
