It is not surprising that UNESCO included the Pafos antiquities, Choirokoitia and ten of the Byzantine period churches of Troodos in its list of World Heritage Sites. The aim of this publication is to help visitors discover the cultural heritage of Cyprus. The qualified personnel at any Information Office of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) is happy to help organise your visit in the best possible way.     Väljaandja: Vabariigi Valitsus Akti liik: määrus Teksti liik: algtekst Avaldamismärge: RT I 1998, 97, 1531 Hiiumaa laidude maastikukaitseala kaitse- eeskirja ja välispiiri kirjelduse kinnitamine Vastu võetud 27.10.1998 nr 243 Kaitstavate loodusobjektide seaduse (RT I 1994, 46, 773; 1998, 36/37, 555)paragrahvi 5 lõike 4 japaragrahvi 6 lõike 3 alusel ning arvestades EuroopaLiidu Nõukogu direktiivi 92/43/EMÜ looduslike elupaikadening fauna ja floora kaitse kohta (EÜT L 206, 21.05.1992) ja EuroopaLiidu Nõukogu direktiivi 79/409/EMÜloodusliku linnustiku kaitse kohta (EÜT L 103, 2.04.1979) sätteid,Vabariigi Valitsus määrab: 1. Kinnitada: 1) Hiiumaa laidude maastikukaitseala kaitse-eeskiri (juurde lisatud); 2) Hiiumaa laidude maastikukaitseala välispiiri kirjeldus (juurdelisatud). 2. Määrata Hiiumaa laidude maastikukaitseala valitsejaksKeskkonnaministeeriumi hallatav riigiasutusHiiumaa Laidude Maastikukaitseala. 3. Tunnistada kehtetuks Eesti NSV Ministrite Nõukogu26. oktoobri 1971. a määruse nr 493 «Uuteriiklike kaitsealade moodustamise ja riikliku maastikulise kaitseala«AegviiduNelijärve» ümbernimetamise kohta»(ENSV Teataja 1971, 44, 465) punkt 1.     Loodusõpetuse ainekava 1. Loodusteaduslik pädevus Loodusteaduslik pädevus väljendub loodusteaduste- ja tehnoloogiaalases kirjaoskuses, mis hõlmab oskust vaadelda, mõista ning selgitada loodus-, tehis- ja sotsiaalses keskkonnas (edaspidi keskkond) eksisteerivaid objekte ja protsesse, analüüsida keskkonda kui terviksüsteemi, märgata selles esinevaid probleeme ning kasutada neid lahendades loodusteaduslikku meetodit, võtta vastu igapäevaelulisi keskkonnaalaseid pädevaid otsuseid ja prognoosida nende mõju, arvestades nii loodusteaduslikke kui ka sotsiaalseid aspekte, tunda huvi loodusteaduste kui maailmakäsitluse aluse ja areneva kultuurinähtuse vastu, väärtustada looduslikku mitmekesisust ning vastutustundlikku ja säästvat eluviisi. 2. Üldpädevuste kujundamine ainevaldkonnas Loodusainetes saavad õpilased tervikülevaate looduskeskkonnas valitsevatest seostest ja vastasmõjudest ning inimtegevuse mõjust keskkonnale. Kultuuri ja väärtuspädevuste kaudu kujundatakse positiivne hoiak kõige elava ja ümbritseva suhtes, arendatakse huvi loodusteaduste kui uusi teadmisi ja lahendusi pakkuva kultuurinähtuse vastu, teadvustatakse loodusliku mitmekesisuse tähtsust ning selle kaitse vajadust, väärtustatakse jätkusuutlikku ja vastutustundlikku eluviisi ning kujundatakse tervislikke eluviise. Sotsiaal ja kodanikupädevuse areng kaasneb õppes toimuva inimtegevuse mõju hindamisega looduskeskkonnale, kohalike ja globaalsete keskkonnaprobleemide teadvustamisega ning neile lahenduste leidmisega.     DESERTMED A project about the deserted islands of the Mediterranean The islands, and all the more so the deserted island, is an extremely poor or weak notion from the point of view of geography. This is to it’s credit. The range of islands has no objective unity, and deserted islands have even less. The deserted island may indeed have extremely poor soil. Deserted, the is- land may be a desert, but not necessarily. The real desert is uninhabited only insofar as it presents no conditions that by rights would make life possible, weather vegetable, animal, or human. On the contrary, the lack of inhabitants on the deserted island is a pure fact due to the circumstance, in other words, the island’s surroundings. The island is what the sea surrounds. What is de- serted is the ocean around it. During about the quarter of the century that has elapsed after regaining independence, our scientific landscape has changed radically. The lion’s share of research work is integrated with providing university education. The targets for the following seven years were defined at the very start of the year, in the document adopted by Riigikogu (Parliament) on January 22, 2014 and entitled “Estonian research and development and innovation strategy 2014- 2020.
