Annual Budget * The budgets of some of these organizations have not been obtained. To these organizations, the Department of Social Services contributes RS. 300/- per beneficiary per month. Ad-hoc grants of up to Rs.75,000/= for repairs and improvements and another Rs.40,000/= for equipment and clothing are provided by the government annually. Other costs are supported by public contributions and fund raising activities. In special circumstances where the institutions are unable to mobilize local funds to meet costs, the government may cover the entire cost of such activities.
