What is the Adventure Passport? Welcome to the CSS Adventure Passport; it is intended to give Saints direction and incentive to opt outside and visit local parks and places Adventure nearby. Visit each location and get a picture of yourself at the park entrance and/or landmarks that are distinct at that park and rack up points for prizes! Passport Who can participate? The whole CSS community is invited to participate. • Students – Get out there and earn yourself some fun gear • Employees – Go explore with your family and share the prizes. • Extended Site/Online Students and Employees - The same rules apply, just visit parks, trails, and natural spaces around your community. Document your adventures on a Google Doc and share it with Outdoor Pursuit. Send us an email when you are ready for us to tally your points. We can mail you prizes once per semester. Document your outdoor activity (photos) Welcome to the CSS Adventure Passport; it is intended to give Saints direction and incentive to opt outside and visit local parks and places nearby. Visit each location and get a picture of yourself at the park entrance or a landmark that is distinct at that park and rack up points for prizes! 2. Get awarded points for getting after it Stop by the Outdoor Pursuit (OP) office located at the base of the indoor climbing wall inside the Burns Wellness Commons, show a staff member your pictures and they will stamp the destinations and award you points for getting out there. 3. Cash in your points for prizes When you earn enough points to get a prize, you can cash them in at the office and claim your rad new OP gear! 4. Tag us on Instagram to win more stuff Tag cssoutdoorpursuit on Instagram and automatically be entered into additional prize drawings throughout out the semester. Watch our Insta for details and prizes. #cssoutdoorpursuit Some Quick Tips to earn more points… Earn extra points for exploring. Take pictures at unique landmarks within each park and earn additional points. (a maximum of 3 points per location unless specified under the location info) Earn 2 points just for attending an OP event. Yes. You get points to show up, and you will get points for that park/destination. Boom… double dipping! Earn points for renting OP equipment… so you and your roomie need a break from campus. Rent some camping gear (get points), go to a state park to camp (get points), explore that park and others nearby (get more points), stop for a slice of pie on the way home (GET POINTS FOR EATING PIE!!). From Duluth to Canada there are countless state parks, state forests, trails, beaches, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, streams, etc… and did we mention WORLD FAMOUS PIE!
