MICHAEL S. ROSENZWEIG President & Owner Born and raised in Duluth, Mike has had a love affair with baseball his entire life. Michael coached at Central Little League for 16 years, and rarely travels to a city that doesn’t have some kind of a baseball team to watch. Previous to owning the team, he had been a sponsor for many Huskies promotional nights including gnome night, batting helmet and team baseball cards giveaways. A financial adviser for more than 31 years, he retired in 2017 and now spends full time with the Duluth Huskies. Michael and his wife Betsy have two sons, Mike and Sam.

GREG CULVER General Manager A native of Lake Nebagamon, , Greg started his Huskies career in Corporate & Group Sales and Stadium Operations during the 2015 season and was named General Manager after that season. Previous to his Huskies career, he served 24 years with the Duluth News Tribune primarily in Advertising. Greg grew up playing baseball in Northern Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens- Point. When not living and breathing baseball you can find him on the local golf courses as a member of both the Poplar and Norwood Golf courses. Greg and his wife Sarah reside in Duluth.

ETTA SORENSON Gameday Operations Intern Etta Sorenson was born in Cebu City, Philippines. She grew up in Bear Creek, WI and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior where she majored in community health and exercise science with a minor in sports management, coaching, and substance abuse counseling. Etta played and soccer for UW-Superior and this is where she met her lifelong friends. When she isn’t around sports, Etta loves to hangout with her friends and family and enjoy exploring the Twin Ports area.

DYLAN ASHCRAFT Team Writer Originally from Perham, MN, Dylan came to Duluth to attend UMD. He and his wife Shannon have three children. They love culturing relationships in with Hope City Church, a new church family nestled in the of the city where the couple enjoys leading worship together on occasion. Dylan is a regional sales executive for City Auto Glass in Duluth. A lifelong fan of the Dolphins, Dylan has had stints covering the team from a distance for The Bleacher Report, USA Today’s Dolphinswire, and most recently The Fin Addicts Network. Dylan is excited to take on the Sports Writer role for the Duluth Huskies!

SHANIA KRAUSE Senior Broadcast Director & Producer Shania was born and raised in Duluth. She got her start with the Huskies as lead intern for the HD video team in 2016, operating cameras and working her way up to directing by the end of the season. She began her role as supervisor in the 2018 season. Krause graduated from Lake Superior College in 2018 with a Media Studies and Production degree, and an Associate of Arts degree. She enjoys anything artistic, including singing, dancing, drawing, photography/ videography, and metal art and jewelry. Shania is looking forward to the baseball season and helping the incoming interns polish their skills within the media field.

PASTOR DARRELL KYLE Team Chaplain Darrell Kyle is returning as the chaplain for the Huskies. He is an avid baseball fan. Darrell is the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin and a member of the Air National Guard. Darrell loves the game and its players and most enjoys coming out to spend time with the players and watch the games with his family.

DALE “HOAGIE” HAAGENSON Volunteer Assistant Clubhouse Manager A native of Babbit, , Haagenson is also a long-time and dedicated volunteer for the UMD hockey, baseball and football teams, lending his services at their home games. In 2003 when the Duluth Huskies officially joined the Northwoods League, Haagensen took over as the assistant clubhouse manager, a position he’s held ever since.

MARCUS POINTER Head Coach / Field Manager Marcus began his career with the Huskies as a pitching coach, and returns this season as Head Coach & Field Manager. He was a at Skyline Junior College winning 21 games in two seasons. In 2009, he was named 1st Team All-Conference unanimous Pitcher-of-the-Year, and first-team All American at the Junior College ranks. He played at the University of Pacific for two seasons and in the independent Pecos League before coaching in the Baseball League. He has instructed several all-league and top prospects, and currently coaches at Canada Junior College in Redwood City, California.

JEFFREY CHAPURAN Hitting Coach Jeff has been part of some very successful programs. He is currently an assistant coach at LSU-Shreveport, and previously worked with hitters and pitchers for the D2 NJCAA National Champions at Northern Oklahoma College-Enid. He also helped lead Tates Creek High School to a Kentucky State Championship. He brings a winning pedigree and incredible energy to the Huskies. He is looking forward to learning from Head Coach Pointer and developing relationships with players from across the country. Away from baseball, he enjoys spending time with family back in Kentucky.

CHRIS MIGUEL Hitting & Strength Coach The Daly City, California native first got into coaching right after his playing days at San Francisco-Sacred Heart Cathedral. Coach Miguel is currently an assistant coach at Cañada College in Redwood City, California, where he got to know Huskies Head Coach Marcus Pointer. He also coaches at a baseball training school for a team called the San Francisco Crabs.

WILL PETERSON Pitching Coach Peterson joins the Huskies organization for the second time in three years. In 2019, he was a Scouting Analytics Coaching Hybrid (SACH) intern and was one of Head Coach Marcus Pointer’s right-hand guys. Will spent the 2020 season learning and growing as a coach, taking the down time we normally don’t see in our sport and put it to good use.

The Duluth Huskies bring a familiar face into the fold for 2021, but this time as an assistant coach. Coach Will Peterson, now a pitching coach at the College of Saint Scholastica, will join the Huskies organization for the second time in three years.

The Huskies have landed another coach for the much-anticipated 2021 season. Chris Miguel has come on as a hitting coach for Duluth.

The Daly City, California native says he first got into the coaching ranks right after his playing days. “I went back to coach at the high school I attended in San Francisco-Sacred Heart Cathedral,” Miguel said. “Once I started there, more doors and opportunities opened up for me, and I’m thankful for all of it.”
