News from the Governing Body At our meeting this month, Governors authorised the school budget for the next 3 years. Like many schools, our budget is under pressure as funding from the Department of Education is fixed at the 2018/19 level, while many costs are rising. We have had to therefore carefully scrutinise all items of income and expenditure to ensure that we achieve value for money, and we will continue to do so as this pressure increases over the years. We will shortly be circulating the Parent Questionnaire, this time via email. Your views and suggestions are valuable to Governors as they inform our work to continuously improve our school. I would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to complete the questionnaire and add your comments. Annet Nottingham, Chair of Governors .
