Summer 2021 IMPORTANT DATES (all dates are subject to change)

May 4 – Jun 18 Summer Quarter 2021 Financial Aid applications available. Limited aid may be available for Summer Quarter. May 25 Deadline: Last day to apply and pay admission fee for Summer Quarter 2021 for new, *returning, and transfer full or part-time students seeking a degree or certificate. May 25 Deadline: All transcripts (college and High School) must be received for Summer Quarter 2021 for full or part- time transfer student admission. 1 Deadline: Last day for students to complete placement (testing) and schedule New Student Orientation appointment in Yakima. Jun 11 New Student Orientation Summer 2021: By appointment only. Call the Admissions Office 509.574.4712 for details. Jun 21 **Tuition due by 3:30 p.m. for Summer Quarter Jun 28 Summer Quarter 2021 classes begin. Jun 28 – Jul 1 Students can add a class with instructor signature. Class adds must be completed on an Add/Drop Form and submitted to Registration. Jun 28 – Jul 1 *Refunds- 100% refund period ends on July 1st. Drops can be completed on Student Portal or by using the Add/Drop Form Jun 28 – Jul 8 Students can drop a class in this period and the class does not appear on transcript. All drops after July 1st must be done using the Add/Drop Form. July 5 Independence Day-Observed Holiday, College Closed July 6 No Classes – Non Instructional Day Jul 9 – July 12 *Refunds- 50% refund period ends on July 12th. Drops must be completed on an Add/Drop Form and submitted to Registration. Drops must be completed by using the Add/Drop Form Jul 9 – Jul 22 Students can withdraw from a class in this period and the grade appears as a “W” on transcript. Drops must be completed by using the Add/Drop Form Jul 22 Last day to withdraw from classes for Summer Quarter Aug 17 Last day of Summer Quarter. Aug 18 Grades due in Registration & Records Office by 4:00 p.m. Aug 19 Grades for Summer Quarter available through Student Portal.

** If you are receiving financial aid assistance you are responsible for verifying that your funds are ready to apply to tuition and fees. Currently enrolled students may be dropped from all classes if your tuition is not paid by this date.

Summer school attendance does not insure admittance to Fall Quarter. For Fall Quarter admittance, you must complete the admission process by published deadlines.

Students must be fully admitted for Summer Quarter in order to be considered for summer financial aid.
