Putnam, Jr., N e t w o r k President, Women’s Committee Notes On The Playwright Neal Du Brock, Executive Producer LAN FORD WILSON was born in Lebanon, Missouri, in 1937 and grew up in Ozark, Missouri. He began writing plays while presents attending the University of Chicago. He was first produced in New York at the Cafe Gino, and had ten subsequent productions there and six at the Cafe LaMama. His first off-Broadway production was HOME FREE at the Cherry Lane, which has been sold to motion pictures. by THIS IS THE RILL SPEAKING was done in the SIX FROM LA MAMA series at the Martinique. His play THE RIMERS OF Lanford Wilson ELDRITCH won the Vernon Rice Drama Desk Award in 1967 fur "Bos'. off- Broadway Play.” Hill and Wang have D in 'd ad by published two volumes of his plays, BALM IN Gil.FAD AND OTHI'R PLAYS. In Warren Enters England, he has been published by Methuen. His short piece, WANDERING, was part of COLLISION COURSE, pre­ with sented off-Broadway in 1968. THE GINGHAM DOG opened at the Washington Bonnie Bartlett / Kathryn Baumann Theater Club in Washington, D.C., in 1968 and was presented on Broadway in the Spring of 1969, directed by Alan Schneider and starring Diana Sands and: Charles Durning / Lee McCain / George Grizzard. It has been published by Hill 'and Wang. He has just completed the screenplay for ONE ARM, by Shawn McGill / Frank Martinez III Tennessee Williams, and has also written the libretto for the opera version of Tennessee Williams’ SUMMER AND SMOKE. He is currently working on two Christopher Walken new plays fo r the theatre, and has been commissioned by Granada Television in England to write a play for them. Mr. Wilson is a member of the New Dramatists Committee, The Playwrights Unit of the Scenery and Costumes Designed by Lighting Designed by Actors Studio, received a Rockefeller Grant in 1967, and an ABC Fellowship in StophcMi J.     1 D O W N T O W N R EVITALIZATION I NITIATIVE 2019 DRI Application Applications for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) must be received by the appropriate Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) by 4:00 PM on May 31, 2019 at the email address provided at the end of this application. In New York City, the Borough Presidents’ offices will be the official applicants to the REDC and organizations interested in proposing an area for DRI funding should contact the respective Borough President’s office as soon possible. Based on these proposals, each Borough President’s office will develop and submit no more than two formal applications for consideration by the New York City REDC. Applications to the offices of the Borough President must be received by email no later than 4:00 PM on May 10, 2019. The subject heading on the email must be “Downtown Revitalization Round 4.” Applicant responses for each section should be as complete and succinct as possible. Additional information is available in the 2019 DRI Guidebook, available at www.ny.gov/DRI. Applicants in the Mid-Hudson region must limit their application to a total of 15 pages, and no attachments will be accepted. The map of the DRI Area requested in question number 1 must be part of the 15-page limit. Applicants should make every effort to engage the community in the development of the application.
