As many of you may have heard, seen, or witnessed, Tempe Town Lake is out of commission until the Tend of October at the earliest. While it’s too early to place blame for the failure, I thought it was aw- fully convenient that Dennis Martinelli announced he was moving to Cali- fornia the very week the dam exploded. I’ll let you decide! (Good luck to Dennis in his move to Bakersfield. At least now we have a place to stop over on our way to Huntington.) Shorter TTL Season In the wake of the TTL fiasco, we will have a shortened fall season there, BUT that doesn’t mean that if you race exclusively at TTL, you have to give up any races.
