The Global Compact Network is convening Australia’s first national, Global Compact multi-sector, multi-stakeholder dialogue on bribery and corruption. Network Australia Corruption continues to be a significant challenge for Australia and our governments, businesses, communities and other stakeholders. The Dialogue will provide a critical platform for constructive engagement and open dialogue and will contribute to building a national network between Australian businesses, government and regulators, civil society and academics. It will provide an opportunity to

explore the practical steps that need to be taken by different stakeholder groups to strengthen business practices and drive ethical cultures and behaviour to reduce

corruption and bribery in Australia and wherever Australian businesses operate. Australian Dialogue on The Dialogue will have two key focus areas: > Challenges and solutions in enforcement, and business–regulator engagement

> How government, business and other stakeholders can work together to drive Bribery & Corruption ethical corporate cultures and behaviour change

The Dialogue will culminate in recommendations for each stakeholder group to move this agenda forward. The Dialogue is intentionally distinct from an anti-bribery conference, in that it is strictly invitation-only and is limited to persons with key responsibilities for implementation of anti- bribery and corruption issues or who have particularly relevant expertise in anti-corruption law and enforcement.
