Job JOB OPPORTUNITY #N2016 -18 Youth Employment Counsellor/Facilitator- Contract GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Manager, Employment Services, Neighbourhood Link, this position facilitates employment programs to youth and implements strategies to employers and educational institutions in order to support clients’ successful re-entry into the workforce, maintain employment, or obtain further education. MAJOR DUTIES: 1. Implement marketing and outreach strategies to encourage the target population and employers to become involved with the project 2. Facilitate programs to assist clients to develop life and job search skills, and to access further education and employment. 3. Liaise with community professionals and employers to create competitive employment opportunities, to determine employer needs and to clarify job requirements 4. NORTH CAROLINA CONSULTANT CONTRACT DURHAM COUNTY THIS CONTRACT is made, and entered into this the day of , 2013, by and between the COUNTY of DURHAM, a political subdivision of the State of North Carolina, (hereinafter referred to as “COUNTY”), and ________________________________________a corporation duly authorized to do business in the state of North Carolina, (hereinafter referred to as “CONSULTANT”). For and in consideration of mutual promises to each as herein after set forth, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES. CONSULTANT hereby agrees to provide the services and/or materials under this contract pursuant to the provisions and specifications identified in “Attachment 1” (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Services”). Attachment 1 is hereby incorporated herein and made a part of this contract. Time is of the essence with respect to all provisions of this contract that specify a time for performance. The COUNTY will perform on-going contract monitoring to ensure that the terms of this contract are complied with. CONTRACTOR agrees to cooperate with the COUNTY in its monitoring process and provide documentation and/or information requested during the term of this Agreement for the purpose of monitoring the services provided by CONTRACTOR. 2. CITY OF CLAREMONT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT 1. PARTIES AND DATE. This Agreement is made and entered into this __ day of ______ 2017, by and between the City of Claremont, a municipal organization organized under the laws of the State of California, with its principal place of business at 207 Harvard Avenue, Claremont, California 91711 (“City”) and ________________, a corporation with its principal place of business at ________________ (“Consultant”). School of Social Work BSW Field Program FIELD PRACTICUM PLANNING AGREEMENT For use by Employers and USF School of Social Work Students The purpose of this agreement is to encourage information sharing and commitment by all parties involved in planning for the educational success of (employee/student name) and (agency name). The employee is enrolling in the USF School of Social Work to pursue a degree in social work and will be required as a part of that enrollment to complete a field internship. Standards for this internship have been approved by our accrediting body, the Council on Social Work Education and have very clear goals and expectations. For a student to be successful in this endeavor, it is beneficial if each person involved understands the expectations of each of the others. For that purpose, we have created this agreement and the attachments for agencies and employee/students to assist in explaining the expectations of USF School of Social Work Field Program. We are aware this educational effort requires flexibility and planning of agencies and supervisors but believe you will find the overall functioning of your employee to improve during this same period as knowledge and skills are enhanced. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES TO PREPARE PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT DOCUMENTS FOR THE CITY OF SAN PABLO Release date: April 30, 2015 Closing date: June 1, 2015 Contact person: Ronalyn Nonato, Assistant Engineer INTRODUCTION The City of San Pablo (the City) seeks a qualified consultant or consultant team to prepare Required Environmental Reports, Construction Plans, Specifications and Estimates and provide construction design support for the: San Pablo Avenue Complete Streets Project PW-612, CML5303 (016) From Rivers Street to Hilltop Drive The City, in collaboration with the City of Richmond, commissioned a Complete Streets Study that considered options for improving San Pablo Avenue for all road users. This study, which was finalized in 2013, developed a project scope and 35% plans for improvements. San Pablo Complete Streets Project is a one mile long project that modifies San Pablo Avenue in the City of San Pablo and the City of Richmond between Rivers Street and Hilltop Drive (the Project). The Project will be administered by the City of San Pablo Briefly, the project proposes to modify San Pablo Avenue to add Class 2 bike lanes in both directions of travel. The Project will install sidewalk along the western side of San Pablo (westbound direction) from Rivers Street to Hilltop Drive, and from Rivers Street to Robert H. Miller Drive along the eastern side (eastbound direction). The Project removes a slip lane into Robert H. Miller Drive and replaces it with a right turn pocket, and a new traffic signal is added at La Puerta Dr. The Project replaces or modifies three existing traffic signals: at Rivers St., Robert H Miller Drive, and Hilltop Drive. -

This information was provided in response to the following question in LOC’s December 12, 2019, letter to the SoS: “45. Please provide a list of states that do and do not have statutes similar to South Carolina’s statutes related to private personnel placement services. Lake County is “Exceeding” the standards in 8 (of 9) measurements and all 6 Adult & Dislocated Worker measurements. Bob also discussed the WIA Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis. During the quarter ending March 31, 2012 41 Registered Adults and Dislocated Workers exited the system with a ROI of 390%. Through three quarters of the program year we have exited a total of 129 Adults and Dislocated Workers with a 444% ROI.
