Fourth head coach in Longwood Baseball History 13 years of collegiate coaching experience Career Record: 50-54 Longwood Record: 50-54 Career Notes • The 2015 Lancers set school records for strikeouts (440) and stolen bases (86) in the Division-I Era (since 2008) • Mau coached Longwood’s all-time strikeout and saves leader, Aaron Myers, in his final collegiate season • Mau coached Kyri Washington, who was drafted in the 23rd round of the 2015 MLB draft by the Boston Red Sox • Spent the previous four seasons at the United States Naval Academy as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator • Served as the pitching and catching coach with the Midshipmen • Led Navy to three consecutive top-100 recruiting classes according to Perfect Game • Coached the 2014 Patriot League Pitcher of the Year in Anthony Parenti • Returned to Virginia after previously serving as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at VMI from ‘06-09.
