Narita airport to Aizuwakamatsu station We recommend that you take the high speed train between Narita airport and Aizuwakamatsu station. If you have a JR Pass then this journey can be booked for free. Aizuwakamatsu Option 1 (Easy) Station The easiest option is to take the “JR Narita Koriyama Express” (NEX) from the airport to Tokyo Station Station. From there you switch train to the high speed “Shinkansen” train (Bullet train) to Koriyama Station. Finally take the “Ban- Etsusai Line” train to Aizuwakamatsu. Note: There is also a bus between Koriyama station and Aizuwakamatsu. This is not included in the JR Pass. s Option 2 The alternate option is that you take the “Narita Skyliner” train from Narita Airport to “Keisei Ueno Station” just north of Tokyo Station. You then exit the station, turn left and walk 5 mins to “Ueno Station” (entrance under the train bridge). The assistant manager confirmed that the outbound 2345 train, the last train bound for Keisei-Narita station departing from the down track of Sogosando station, had departed from Sogosando station, and approved to start construction works at about 00:51. On the other hand, the outbound 2373K train, the last train bound for Keisei-Sakura station, departed from Keisei-Usui station about one minute behind schedule, at about 00:55, and went into the closed track section after the start of the construction works was approved. PROBABLE CAUSES It is highly probable that the serious incident had occurred as the 2373K train ran in the closed track section after the approval of the construction works that should be implemented to stop train operation, because the request to start the closed track construction works was approved without confirmed arrival of the 2373K train at Keisei-Sakura station, the last train bound for Keisei-Sakura station.

(Alternatively, take the Tokyo monorail from Haneda and transfer to the JR Yamanote line at Hamamatshucho Station, going to Tokyo Station.)
