Kids Intro to Sailing Half Day: 9:00am to 12:15pm Monday thru Friday Kids Intro to Sailing 9am—4pm OR 12:45pm to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday Kids Intro to Sailing (1/2d) 9am—12:15pm Full Day: 9:00am to 1:00pm Monday thru Friday Kids Intro to Sailing (1/2d) 12:45pm—4pm This course is designed to give the youngest sailors in our program an introduction to the Chesapeake Bay and sailing. The class is designed for sailors ages 5-8. Emphasis will be placed on fun, teamwork, and enjoying the Beginner Dinghy Sailing 9am-4pm water. Ages 5– 7. Intermediate Dinghy Sailing 9am-4pm

Beginner Dinghy Sailing 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday June 15—19 June 22—26 This class offers instruction for beginners by introducing basic seamanship including , steering, and be- June 29—July 3 July 6—10 ginner sailing. Emphasis is placed on safety, learning, and fun. Students are introduced to water safety through classroom and on the water activities. Students will learn boat controls, basic sailing maneuvers, basic seaman- July 20—24 July 27—July 31 ship, and wind direction. This course is for children ages 8-12 August 3—7 August 10—14

Teen Beginner Sailing 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday Young teens and tweens interested in learning to sail will be introduced to the fun of sailing in a social environ- ment. With 2 students working together to sail the boat they get all the fun & learning they crave. Ages 12-16. Teen Beginner Sailing 9am-4pm July 13—17 August 10-14 Intermediate Dinghy Sailing 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday This class is for the intermediate junior sailor who wants to improve their sailing skills. Students who have previ- ously been enrolled in a sailing class with SMSA or have other sailing experience are invited to join. This course focuses on the fundamen- tals of small boat sailing. The course is open to any sailor interested in learning or improving their small boat sail- ing skills. The course is open to all students 16 and up.
