Ashley Lau had a productive night with six kills and helped power her team to a convincing third game after two close games. “We attacked hard and did a good job at the net” said Coach Helen Jahr. Riverland Community College won its second straight match with a sweep of Gogebic College as they rolled to wins of 25-13, 25-8, and 25-21. This was the season opener of Gogebic and the long bus ride showed it. “They were a much tougher opponent in the third game” said Jahr. Brooke Monson led with 5 kills and 3 blocks on the night.
