Lisgar is the only school in Ottawa to oer the Advanced Placement Capstone diploma, one of the most academically challenging diplomas a student can earn. The school also encourages its students to be involved in the school community as a way to enhance the educational experience. Students who graduate from the school often receive scholarships and awards from both Canadian and American universities and colleges.
