NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING SINGLE DOG ENTRIES

Veteran Dog Class, 7 years and under 9 years Veteran Dog Class, 9 years and older (same for Veteran Bitch Classes) Gun Dog/Bitch Classes - This class is open only to those dogs that have received a tle in AKC hunt tests. Entries may be spayed or neutered.

BEST PUPPY COMPETITION RULES: During the course of regular judging, the assigned judge will select a Best Puppy from the Puppy Class winners. This will be done aer the Best of Breed Compeon unless the Best Pup- py award is automac. Example: An entry from the Puppy Classes is awarded Best of Winners or Best of Breed. Only dogs and bitches undefeated in a Puppy class are eligible for the Best Puppy Compeon. If the first place winner is not present, the second place winner may not compete. Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries

Stud Dog Class (Naonal Only) - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in Best of Breed compeon, but must be entered in the Stud Dog class. The Get must be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in Best of Breed compeon.

The Stud Dog shall be considered one entry and requires one entry fee – this being the regular fee $38.00 or the addional class fee $30.00, if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condion that would require its disqualificaon or excusal under the dog show rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed.

Brood Bitch Class (Naonal Only) - same as for Stud Dog except substute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. As the judge's decision in the Stud Dog & Brood Bitch classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won either of these classes.

Brace (Naonal Only) – (For two dogs of the same breed and must have at least one common owner and presented by a maximum of two handlers.) Both dogs must be entered in another class. If more than one Brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising each Brace must be so designated, “Brace No. 1,” “Brace No. 2” etc. The fee for this class is $20.00.

Junior Showmanship Novice Junior Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show and who at the me entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with compeon present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Novice Intermediate Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show and who at the me entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with compeon present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Novice Senior Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the me entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with compeon present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Open Junior Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show and who at the me entries close have won three (3) first place awards, with compe- on present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Open Intermediate Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show and who at the me entries close have won three (3) first place awards, with compeon present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Open Senior Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the me entries close have won three (3) first place awards, with com- peon present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Master Class - for boys & girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open Class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to com- plete for the following year. The Roberts Centre has 26 RV Spots that Include Electric, 14 of which are Full Hook-ups, and at a rate of $40 per night / all other parking is considered dry parking at a rate of $25 per night. RESERVED SPOT ASSIGNMENTS/REQUIREMENTS - All spaces will be pre-assigned. “Holding” or changing spaces is not permied. If you would like to be next to someone please designate it on your reservaon form. Reservaon of addional RV Parking spaces is not permied. This includes no cones, rope, string, other vehicles, x-pens, mats, or any other means of reserving parking space. RVs MUST NOT be parked within 6Ō of Roberts Road or in front of the area where the hookups begin – this is for guest safety and must be followed.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF RV SPOT REQUIREMENTS - It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure they are leaving their reserved RV Parking spot the way they found it without damaging the spot, or leaving behind trash/waste. It is required that the guest dispose of all trash, waste, bedding, etc from the reserved RV spot prior to departure. If the guest requires trash bags, they can be purchased from our front desk or banquets department for $1.00 per bag. Excessive cleaning of the guest’s reserved RV Spot aŌer the guest has “checked-out” will result in an addiƟonal cleaning fee of a minimum of $50.00, this amount may vary depending upon the amount of cleaning and or damage to the reserved spot. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTER- NATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.

A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). A $3.50 AKC Recording Fee will be required for the first entry in Rally and $3.00 for each additional entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 5). A $2.00 Event Service Fee will be required for each entry in 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy. These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.

RETURNED CHECKS / INVALID CREDIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry. The Superintendent will add a collection fee of $25 to the amount of each returned check and credit card. Subsequent returned checks and credit card from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a cash-only basis. Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturb- ances, fire, extreme and or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.

No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made.

Refunds made for cancellation of entries before the closing date will be subject to a $3.00 administrative/ processing fee per entry.

No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.

Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor the Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up the class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.

Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.

The show giving club, the Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. PUBLICATION RIGHTS By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event, shall belong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition.
