However, CSCA holds the right to bump the last entered non-Clumber Spaniel dog to the wait list, if a Clumber Spaniel wants to enter this event. If the event is full, please contact HuntSecretary.com if you would like to put your dog(s) on the waitlist or if you have an Clumber Spaniel you need to enter. This Spaniel Hunt Test is held under the Rules and Procedures of the American Kennel Club. Eligible Breeds for Spaniel Hunting Tests: Airedale Terriers, American Water Spaniels, Boykin Spaniels, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Clumber Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Curly-Coated Retrievers, English Cocker Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels,Field Spaniels, Flat-Coated Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Irish Water Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers(Feb 1, 2019), Poodles - Standard and Miniature, Sussex Spaniels, and Welsh Springer Spaniels. All dogs must be six months of age or over on the day of the Hunting Test. The Running Order will be electronically randomized and adjusted slightly to accommodate handlers running multiple dogs. Club Scratch Policy Entry fees paid for a bitch withdrawn because of coming into season or for a dog withdrawn because of an injury or illness, or for a dog which dies, shall be refunded in full by the test giving club. Prior to paying such refund, the club may require an appropriate veterinary certificate. Requests and documentation must be presented prior to the test. There will be no refunds for “no shows”. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event a dog is disqualified, excused by a judge or barred from the test by action of the Hunt Test Committee. No entry fee will be refunded if the test cannot be started or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbance, an act of God, public emergency, or any other cause beyond the control of the Hunt Test Committee. Notwithstanding any of the above, the CSCA will refund entries fees (less Hunt Test Secretary fees) in the event of state park or state closure due to Corvid 19.
