Three of MATC tracksters made the All-Region XIII honor roll for having the top performances in the region. They include Bill Hendrickson for his 22’1.5" long jump, Tom Reis for his 11:18 Steeple- chase, and Scot Williams for his 37:38.2 10,000 M.

The 1993 Track and Field season was both memorable and fun. With it’s new club/varsity format, next year will hopefully return most of this year’s athletes. Combined with a good crop of new recruits, the 1994 season already looks promising.

Kramer brought her love of volleyball from Seneca High School to the junior college scene. Many MATC opponents knew Kayla as a former teammate or conference foe. Gina Thompson and Teri Heilberger came from the Sun Prairie area to test their skills and be part of the MATC volleyball experience. A “townie” from Madison East, Karin Fehrman, brought desire and intensity along with her skills to the MATC court. 1992-93 WRESTLING

The wrestling team ended this year’s season with Nate Hunter, and Ted Walmer are all looking at a small squad. Maher Hakim, Craig Daniels, wrestling for the Trojans next year. and Ed Marking were first year wrestlers for the Trojans. The first year of wrestling at the college level is hard. All three men did a fine job and improved throughout the season. They are planning on wrestling next season and should do a good job for MATC. Ron Zellers was the only second year wrestler and finished the season as one of the top wrestlers on the team. He ended with a 7-6 record and placed third and fourth in two tournaments.

Unfortunately, MATC lost some wrestlers this year because of work conflicts and eligibility. Many athletes did wrestle for MATC “unat- tached” and gained some experience for next season. Larry Green, Keith Frey, Kurt Lewis,
