Madeline’s Christmas celebrates 10th anniversary at Horizon Theatre, December 2-31 Little Five Points theatre continues beloved holiday tradition with family favorite performance

ATLANTA (November 1, 2017) – Returning for a 10 year milestone, ’s Christmas will bring merriment and cheer to Horizon Theatre, December 2-31! A festive treat for those of all ages, families are invited to join Madeline and friends for a magical musical adaption of ’ classic children’s tale. Featuring 24 local girls performing alongside professional actors in collaboration with The Atlanta Children’s Theatre Company, this show is enjoyable for children and adults alike!

In the production’s 10-year history, more than 220 local girls have realized their dream of performing with a professional theatre company as part of the Madeline’s Christmas cast. This year’s cast features girls, ages 8 to 13, from five metro Atlanta counties and 19 different schools.

Madeline’s Christmas will run December 2-31. Performances are weekends at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. with additional school day matinee and holiday week show times. Tickets are $12 for children and $15 for adults. Tickets and information are available at horizontheatre.com or 404.584.7450.

Based on one of the most popular children’s books of all time, the story follows Madeline and friends as they figure out a way to make it home for Christmas after they’ve come down with the flu! With the arrival of a mysterious stranger, the “twelve little girls in two straight lines” end up with a magical and memorable holiday beyond their wildest dreams!

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE Performances of Madeline’s Christmas will run December 2-31, 2017.

Weekend Performances Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Also, Saturdays, December 9, 16 and 23 at 10:30 a.m.

School Day Matinees Tuesday, December 5 and Wednesday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m.

Weekday Performances Mondays, December 11 and 18 at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, December 21, 22 and 26-29 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. * No performances will be held on December 25, 2017.

TICKETING INFORMATION General admission tickets for Madeline’s Christmas are $12 for children and $15 for adults. Tickets may be ordered by phone at 404.584.7450 or online at horizontheatre.com. Ticket prices are subject to change. Box office fee will be added to all ticket orders. Internet convenience fee added to all online orders. No refunds, exchanges or late seating.

MATINEE GROUP RATES Group discounts are available for these shows: the matinee performances on Tuesday, December 5 and Wednesday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. School and daycare groups of 10 or more receive a discount of $3 off of general admission ticket prices.
