Scholarship Program Massachusetts Broadcasters Association WHAI and WPVQ participated in the MBA 2016 and 2017 Student Broadcaster Scholarship program. The stations contributed financially into the scholarship fund, helped promote the scholarship via on-air announcements, disseminated and collected scholarship applications, and actively evaluated scholarship candidates. Internship Program The goal of the WHAI/WPVQ Internship Program is to provide college students with a unique and practical experience in the radio industry. Internships are available for those full-time students who are seeking approved college credit hours. Although most Interns will spend up to eight hours per week at the radio station, Internships can be arranged to accommodate a student's academic schedule. We employed 1 intern during 2016. EEO Training for Management WHAI/WPVQ Brand Manager, Nick Danjer, and Business Manager, Luke Donahue, attended the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association 2017 EEO webinar presented by Laurie Lynch Flick of the law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. The webinar took place October 18th, 2017. E.
