We have met with the FAI on a number of occasions with regard to having St Kevins Boys included in these proposed leagues but are constantly informed that we do not meet the criteria necessary. On enquiry as to the criteria that we fall short on we never receive a clear answer. Now, we don’t want this to sound like sour grapes but there has to be a better way to solve the current impasse. It would strike me that it would have made more sense for the FAI to appoint a panel of LOI people and a panel of those at the top end of schoolboy development along with Mr Dokter to work towards a solution that benefits all those involved.
