DEFENSE Levi Wolf, UW-Stout Jr. S Elmwood, Wis. Wolf recorded two interceptions and pulled in a pass reception on a fake field goal attempt as UW-Stout defeated No. 4-ranked University of St. Thomas (Minn.), 25-22, on Sept. 9. He stepped in front of a St. Thomas pass late in the second quarter and returned it 32 yards to the St. Thomas 3-yard line. Two plays later, UW-Stout tied the game with a 3-yard TD and a two-point conversion at 14-14. Moments later, Wolf captured his second interception of the day as St. Thomas drove deep into UW-Stout territory and Wolf picked off the pass on the Stout 12 to snuff out a 12-play drive. While the play did not turn into points, Wolf caught his first collegiate pass on a fake field goal attempt and ran it 15 yards to the St. Thomas 25. He finished the game with nine tackles, six solo, two interceptions for 32 yards and a pass reception for 15 yards.
