(Hamilton) Patterson posted his third consecutive 100-plus yard rushing performance, totaling season highs with 32 carries (a career high) for 221 yards and three touchdowns in the Warhawks’ 21-14 triumph over UW-La Crosse, ranked 24th by the American Football Coaches Association, at Perkins Stadium on Oct. 13. His day included a 93-yard touchdown run, the team’s longest run from scrimmage since 2006, to give UW-Whitewater a two-possession lead early in the fourth quarter. Patterson also ran for a 4-yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 1-yard score five minutes into the third. He posted two runs of 20-plus yards in the first quarter alone to set the pace early. His yardage total was the second-highest of his career, just missing his 227-yard game against Belhaven University (Miss.) on Sept. 10 of last season. DEFENSE Jon Kallas, UW-Oshkosh Sr. LB Cedarburg, Wis. Kallas had a team-leading seven tackles, including four solo and 0.5 sack, one interception and one pass breakup as UW-Oshkosh defeated UW- Platteville, 28-14, on Oct. 14. Kallas, the Titans’ leading tackler on the season, collected his first career interception that thwarted UW-Platteville’s final possession of the first half at the UW-Oshkosh 21-yard line. He also broke up a pass on UW-Platteville’s last drive of the third period and notched a half-sack on a third down near midfield early in the fourth quarter. SPECIAL TEAMS Turner Geisthardt, UW-Oshkosh Jr. PK/P Omro, Wis. (Oshkosh North) Geisthardt averaged 60.4 yards per kickoff and 36 yards per punt, while converting each of his four extra points during UW-Oshkosh’s 28-14 victory at UW-Platteville on Oct. 14. Two of Geisthardt’s five kickoffs went for touchbacks, while a pair of his four punts pinned UW-Platteville inside its own 20- yard line. 2017 Preseason Predictions--Voted on by WIAC Statistics WIAC Head Coaches and Sports Information Directors (http://static.wiacsports.com/custompages/football/2017/confstat.htm) 2016 Record 1. • Capital Improvement Plan: 2019-2025 Introduction
Capital Improvement Plan: 2019-2025 Introduction I am pleased to introduce the proposed Six-Year Capital Improvement Plan for the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater (CIP) for Fiscal Year 2019/20 through 2024/25. The CIP is a short range plan, in conjunction with the state capital budget planning process, which identifies projects intended to support the University’s mission and implementation of the campus master plan. The Whitewater campus is one of thirteen comprehensive campuses within the University of Wisconsin System and just celebrated it’s Sesquicentennial anniversary. Much like the other campuses, it has facilities and infrastructure that are over fifty years old. This plan begins to address updating the campus in the critical areas of life safety, accessibility, modernization and deferred maintenance. Since the CIP includes estimates of projects costs, it begins to provide the basis for setting priorities, reviewing schedules and developing funding strategies for proposed improvements. It will allow for the monitoring of progress of capital improvement projects and inform the public of projected investment and unfunded needs. Projects included in the CIP are non-recurring, have long service life and are generally over $50,000. Although this plan covers a 6-year planning period, it will be updated annually to reflect the changing status of projects and the inclusion of new projects to support needs on campus. Thank you.
