Ashbee Brochure 1 H i s t o r y Ashbee House was completed in 2008 and was the How To Find Us: project of Jennifer and Colin Creese, and their youngest son, Peter. The site has been in the Creese family since the early sixties, as part of their land when they first Ashton under Hill is approximately 6 miles out of Evesham off the A46. Turn right at the sign and came to live in Ashton Under Hill. follow the road into the Village turning right again at the T-junction. Follow the road for about a mile and look out for a turn to the left —Wood Lane— immediately after the turn to Gorse Hill estate. Ashbee is the very last house on the right, at the end of the Lane. From the Cheltenham direction, Ashton is approximately 12 miles. A S H B E E This oak framed house nestles neatly at the foot of Wood Lane, Bredon Hill, and is the perfect starting position for Ashton-Under-Hill, exploring many walks in the surrounding area. Evesham, Ashton is an ideal location for surveying the WORCS. Cotswolds — Broadway, Chipping Campden and WR11 7SQ Stow on the Wold are just a short trip away.     Kemerton Clippings Issue 25 Kemerton Conservation Trust Newsletter January 2020 John Clarke’s Obituary - by AMG Darby © Kate Aubury his time John acted as a conservation advisor to Overbury Estate and was known locally for his conservation work and citizen science projects. Sadly he became ill in 1996 and for the rest of his life suffered from a series of debilitating conditions which left him increasingly incapacitated. Despite this, he was always full of ideas, and as he lost the ability to carry out physical tasks himself he became increasingly effective in persuading others. He was very successful in getting local landowners and farm- ers to co-operate as was shown by the success of the Carrant Catchment Area Restoration John leading a walk in Kemerton Wood, November 2007 Project, which continues to grow.
