Primary Partnership During the summer term, we welcomed Year 5 students from ten different primary schools, over a period of five days. Our visitors enjoyed a range of lessons including: Science, English, Maths, Technology, Geography, Drama, History, PE, ICT and a very noisy Music lesson! Copious amounts of energy were then exerted with dodge ball, table tennis and the climbing wall. Judging by the smiling faces, an enjoyable time was had by all. Thank you to all students and staff who took part and made it a huge success. Walton-le Dale Primary School Visit – Pizza Making LHA Sampler Day On 21st June and 5 July, we welcomed two very excited Year 3 classes from Walton-le-Dale Primary School. Peter Pan and Wendy @lostockacademy On 5th June the Year 10 Performing Arts group took a trip to Preston College to watch their Year 12 and 13 performance of Peter Pan and Y11 GCSE Business class Wendy. The group were inspired by the performance and really enjoyed seeing what they might do in college. Miss Gregson's Year 11 GCSE Business class enjoying one of their last lessons. This class worked hard to prepare themselves for their GCSE OPEN EVENING exams. LOSTOCK HALL ACADEMY Lostock Carnival Samba Band Meymac Outdoor Activities Residential (July 2019) Students from Year 7-10 took part in the Samba Band, processing at the Lostock Hall Carnival on Saturday 6th July. The band entertained thousands of people who lined the streets of Lostock Hall for the celebrations in this annual event. Thank you to all the students who took part, to James and Keith who sent in photographs and not forgetting the local community for organising the event. In addition, to top it off were the lucky winners of ‘Best Turned Out Float' trophy!
