PRIVATE INITIATIVE “COMPREHENSIVE TECHNICAL-COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT OF THE SEDAPAL CENTRAL AREA”

Information to be published in the PROINVERSIÓN website, as set forth in Section 22.2 Article 22 of Supreme Decree No. 127-2014-EF, Regulation of Legislative Decree 1012 that approves the Public Private Partnership Framework Law for the generation of productive employment and establishes rules to streamline private investment promotion processes.

1. Subsection b) of section 20.1 in article No. 20: Proposal for a private investment participation modality

Signing of a Public Private Partnership Contract under the Self-sustaining modality, in compliance with the provisions in Decree Law No. 1012, and its approved Regulation through Supreme Decree 127-2014-EF.

The private initiative named COMPREHENSIVE TECHNICAL- COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT OF SEDAPAL CENTRAL AREA

II. Objectives: The project’s general goal is to operate, maintain and optimize the service that SEDAPAL provides its users.

Specific objectives:

Operational optimization

 Validate, update and maintain drinking water and sewage cadasters  Implement a corporate Asset Management System  Define data collection procedures for drinking water and sewage network infrastructure  Potable water and sewage infrastructure data collection  Evaluate the supply network’s hydraulic capacity and prepare an operational management plan  Integrate an operational control system  Divide the network into sectors and control leakage  Define and implement processes to install optimization software at network renewal  Implement tools to support preventive and corrective management  Implement an energy optimization process

Maintenance and Operation

 Operate, maintain an5  d modernize pumping and re-pumping systems for the drinking water network  Control the quality of SEDAPAL pumped and treated water  Chlorinate and re-chlorinate drinking water  Operate, maintain and modernize storage systems for the drinking water distribution network  Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for drinking water and sewage networks  Optimize supply system operations  Replacement of drinking water and sewage network segments

Commercial Optimization

 Provide and install a commercial system  Review and optimize commercial processes  Collect field data and digitize the commercial cadaster  Define and support the preparation of the meter installation plan

III. Concrete benefits that the project’s execution will bring to the location where it will be executed and, if applicable, by project type. Implementing the proposal would allow SEDAPAL to:  Transfer operational risk to the proponent  Attain management targets  Reduce the non-revenue water consumption rate  Finance commercial management operation and maintenance  Improve billing control and supervision  Reduce physical losses in water distribution  Improve control systems for water distribution  Modernize reading systems  Increase user portfolio
