Darim Japan Ltd. (United States) Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture Develops, installs, and operates virtual studio systems and streaming-technology-based security systems. Undertakes marketing, production, and sales in Japan. Also seeks OEM supply deals and other business tie-ups. Established a Japanese corporation in March 2005. 2. Montaplast of Japan Ltd. (Germany) Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture Imports and sells automobile parts; produces parts for ships and automobiles; undertakes technical tie-ups and training related to production of automobile parts. Dräxlmaier Automotive Japan Co. Ltd. (Germay) Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture Manufactures and sells interior automotive trims such as door trims and center consoles using the finest wood and leather for top-of-the-line luxury cars . Established a Japanese corporation in September 2006. 12. AMB Property Japan Inc. (United States) Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture A leading global developer and owner of industrial real estate, focused on major hub and gateway distribution markets throughout North America, Europe and Asia. In September, 2006, AMB acquired 66,000㎡ of land in the city, and planning to expand its land investment to 120,000㎡ in total by 2007 which will be the biggest hub and gateway distribution market in Greater Nagoya. 13. MC Decaux (France) Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture A joint venture between JCDecaux (a french based multinational marketing company specialized in outdoor advertising) and Mitsubishi corporation. Installs indoor advertising in shopping malls, and outdoor in bus shelters. Established Nagoya sales branch in October, 2006. 14. Cadence Innovation LLC Japan (United States) Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture Designs and manufactures a wide variety of molded plastic components for the global automotive industry. Interior products include soft trim, door trim, sidewall trim, door panels, instrument panels, airbag covers, and consoles. 17 facilities in the United Sates, Cezch Republic, and France. Established a Japanese sales site in October, 2006. 15. IKEA Japan Inc. (Sweden) Yatomi City, Aichi Prefecture The world’s largest home furnishing retailing company, IKEA Group, agreed land transfer contract in November. Size of the land is 27ha. Expected to start its operation in June, 2008. Enterprises Expanding into Greater Nagoya （4） 16. Thyssenkrupp Automotive Japan Co., Ltd (Germany) Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture One of the world’s leading automotive suppliers, with around 130 production sites in 17 countries. Specialist in body parts, crankshafts, assembled camshafts, steering columns, and steering systems. Established a branch in Greater Nagoya in November, 2006 17. Cooper Standard Automotive, Inc (United States) Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture Manufactures and sells automotive products such as pipe fitting for fuel systems, fluid products for oil tubes, and sealing products for windows and doors. Established a branch in Greater Nagoya for sales and marketing center for Japan in November 2006. 18. Inside Japan Tours Ltd. (United Kingdom) Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture An independent tour operator who specializes in Japan. Main customers are from the United Kingdom and the U.S.A. Their concept is to experience ‘real’ Japan using public transportations and staying in Japanese local/traditional inns. They receive over 1,000 customers annually. Has experiences in doing business with United States’ big three automotive manufactures as well as Japanese automotive manufacturers in United States. Established a Japanese corporation in January 2007 for sales and marketing center to expand business with Japanese automotive manufacturers. Enterprises Expanding into Greater Nagoya （5） 21. SHANGHAI FOREIGN SERVICE CO.,LTD (China) Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture Acts as a human resource agency and provides (specialists with advanced knowledge and trainees) from China to Japan and it is the largest organization in China for human resource managing agent. CHICAGO POWDERED METAL PRODUCTS CO (United States) Nagoya / Aichi An independent powdered metal auto parts manufacturer in the United States. Manufactures and sells transmission parts, gears, rods and other powdered and sintered metal parts for automotives. CPM Japan Branch provides technical support to Japanese automotive manufacturers as well as auto parts manufacturers in Japan for the purpose of promoting CPM USA's sales to such Japanese manufacturers' plants in the United States. Established a branch office in Nagoya City in July, 2007. 27. Japan Goretex Inc (United States) Tsu / Mie Develops and manufactures application products of fluorine polymer and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) film. It is also the third station deployed by Air Liquide in Aichi prefecture, following the two stations already in operation at Nagoya Atsuta and Toyota Interchange Hydrogen Stations. “Laguna Ten Bosch” is an integrated Resort facility that overlooks the picturesque Mikawa Bay. With over 2.9 million visitors per year, it is one of the largest Resort facilities in the Aichi Prefecture and the largest in the Higashi-Mikawa region. “Laguna Ten Bosch” is located along the national highways Routes 23 and 247, both of which are the region’s main trunk roads. While several permanent hydrogen stations have already been installed along trunk roads such as the national highway Route 1 which connects the cities of Nagoya and Okazaki, Gamagori Hydrogen Station is near both Okazaki and Toyohashi, offering heightened convenience to the region’s existing users.

Protective measures against the bomb have already been taken by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and there is no risk of explosion, but in accordance with the instructions from Hamamatsu City and relevant agencies, the bomb will be transferred to the Enshu-nada coast and disposed of by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force on November 10, 2013 (Sunday). This is to notify our passengers of the effects that the transportation of the bomb is likely to have on our train service. Possible effects on train service The bomb will be transported starting at 8:30 on November 10, 2013 (Sunday), and during this time, trains will be unable to enter the restricted zone set up by Hamamatsu City and relevant agencies. Therefore, services in certain sections of the Tokaido Shinkansen and the Tokaido Line will temporarily be suspended or cancelled. (1)Tokaido Shinkansen ・ Services between Hamamatsu Station and Toyohashi Station will be suspended while the restriction zone is in place. Therefore, there will be delays in trains passing through this section. ・ No trains will be cancelled. ・ Extra trains will be operated before service is suspended. ・ If the work progresses as scheduled, service is expected to return to the normal schedule at around 12:00. (2)Tokaido Line ・ While the restriction zone is in place, Westbound trains will operate to Hamamatsu Station and Eastbound trains will operate to Maisaka Station.

Its main results are: (1) the Okazakians are using more polite forms over the 55 years; (2) the effect of the three social variables (sex, age, and educational background), which used to be strong factors controlling the use of the honorifics in the speech community, are diminishing over the years; (3) in OSH I and II, the questions show clustering by the feature [±service interaction], while the same 11 questions in OSH III exhibit clustering by a different feature, [±spontaneous]; (4) the change in (3) and (4) can be accounted for nicely by the Democratization Hypothesis proposed by Inoue (1999) for the variation and change of honorifics in other Japanese dialects.
