GP - Staatsvertrag - Protokolle Slowakisch (Normativer Teil) 3 von 374 ČLÁNOK 1 Tento protokol sa vzťahuje na výrobky uvedené kapitolách 72 a 73 kombinovanej nomenklatúry. Tiež sa vzťahuje na ostatné hotové výrobky zo železa a ocele v rámci uvedených kapitol, ktoré môžu mať v budúcnosti pôvod v Albánsku . ČLÁNOK 2 Clá, ktoré sú uplatniteľné v Spoločenstve na dovoz výrobkov zo železa a ocele s pôvodom v Albánsku, sa dňom nadobudnutia platnosti tejto dohody zrušujú. ČLÁNOK 3 1. Po dni nadobudnutia platnosti tejto dohody sa clá uplatniteľné v Albánsku na dovoz výrobkov zo železa a ocele s pôvodom v Spoločenstve, ktoré sú uvedené v článku 19 dohody a v prílohe I k tejto dohode sa postupne znižujú v súlade s harmonogramom v uvedenom článku. 2. Po dni nadobudnutia platnosti tejto dohody sa clá uplatniteľné v Albánsku na dovoz všetkých ostatných výrobkov zo železa a ocele s pôvodom v Spoločenstve zrušia. Množstvové obmedzenia na dovoz tovaru s pôvodom v Spoločenstve do Albánska a opatrenia s podobným účinkom sa zrušia v deň nadobudnutia platnosti tejto dohody. 2. Množstvové obmedzenia na dovoz tovaru s pôvodom v Spoločenstve do Albánska a opatrenia s podobným účinkom sa zrušia v deň nadobudnutia platnosti tejto dohody. ČLÁNOK 5 1. Z hľadiska pravidiel ustanovených v článku 71 tejto dohody, zmluvné strany uznávajú, že je potrebné a naliehavé, aby každá strana okamžite riešila akýkoľvek štrukturálny nedostatok svojho železiarskeho a oceliarskeho odvetvia s cieľom zaistiť globálnu konkurencieschopnosť svojho priemyselného odvetvia. Albánsko preto do troch rokov zavedie potrebný reštrukturalizačný a konverzný program pre svoj železiarsky a oceliarsky priemysel s cieľom dosiahnuť životaschopnosť tohto odvetvia v bežných trhových podmienkach. Na dosiahnutie tohto cieľa Spoločenstvo na požiadanie poskytne Albánsku príslušné odborné poradenstvo. 2. Okrem pravidiel ustanovených v článku 71 tejto dohody sa akákoľvek postupy, ktoré sú v protiklade s týmto článkom, posudzujú na základe osobitných kritérií vyplývajúcich z uplatňovania pravidiel o štátnej pomoci v Spoločenstve, vrátane jeho sekundárnych právnych predpisov a akýchkoľvek špecifických predpisov týkajúcich sa kontroly štátnej pomoci a platných v oblasti železiarskeho a oceliarskeho odvetvia po uplynutí platnosti Zmluvy o založení Európskeho spoločenstva uhlia a ocele. S cieľom uplatňovania ustanovení článku 77 ods.1 bodu iii tejto dohody, pokiaľ ide o výrobky zo železa a ocele, Spoločenstvo uznáva, že počas piatich rokov po dni nadobudnutia platnosti tejto dohody môže Albánsko výnimočne poskytnúť štátu pomoc na účely reštrukturalizácie za predpokladu, že: – pomoc má za následok životaschopnosť prijímajúcich firiem v bežných trhových podmienkach na konci obdobia reštrukturalizácie a – suma a intenzita takejto pomoci sú prísne obmedzené na úroveň, ktorá je absolútne nevyhnutná na obnovenie takejto životaschopnosti, a postupne sa znižujú – a reštrukturalizačný program je spojený s celkovou racionalizáciou a kompenzačnými opatreniami proti deformačným vplyvom štátnej pomoci poskytnutej v Albánsku. 4. Každá strana zabezpečuje úplnú transparentnosť realizácie potrebného reštrukturalizačného a konverzného programu prostredníctvom úplnej a nepretržitej výmeny informácií s druhou zmluvnou stranou, vrátane podrobností o reštrukturalizačnom pláne, ako aj výške, intenzite a účele každej štátnej pomoci poskytnutej na základe odsekov 2 a 3. 5. Stabilizačná a asociačná rada monitoruje implementáciu požiadaviek stanovených v uvedených odsekoch 1 až 4. CE/AL/P1/sk 4 6 von 374 521 der Beilagen XXIII. Ak sa jedna zo strán domnieva, že určitý postup druhej strany nie je zlučiteľný s podmienkami tohto článku, a ak táto metóda spôsobuje, alebo hrozí, že spôsobí poškodenie záujmov prvej strany alebo značnú ujmu jej domácemu priemyselnému odvetviu, môže táto strana po konzultácii v rámci kontaktnej skupiny uvedenej v článku 7 alebo po uplynutí tridsiatich pracovných dní po predložení žiadosti o takúto konzultáciu prijať vhodné opatrenia. ČLÁNOK 6 Ustanovenia článkov 20, 21 a 22 tejto dohody sa vzťahujú na obchod s výrobkami z ocele medzi zmluvnými stranami. ČLÁNOK 7 Zmluvné strany súhlasia, že na sledovanie a preskúmavanie riadneho vykonávania tohto protokolu sa v súlade s článkom 120 ods. 4 dohody zriadi kontaktná skupina. GP - Staatsvertrag - Protokolle Slowakisch (Normativer Teil) ČLÁNOK 1 1. Spoločenstvo a Albánsko uplatňujú na spracované poľnohospodárske výrobky clá, ktoré sú uvedené v prílohe I a v prílohe II písm. a), II písm. b), II písm. c), II písm. d) v súlade s uvedenými podmienkami, či sú obmedzené colnými kvótami, alebo nie. 2. Stabilizačná a asociačná rada rozhodne o: - rozšírení zoznamu spracovaných poľnohospodárskych výrobkov na základe tohto protokolu, - zmenách a doplneniach ciel uvedených v prílohách I a II písm. b), II písm. c), II písm. d) - zvýšeniach alebo zrušeniach colných kvót. ČLÁNOK 2 Clá uplatňované podľa článku 1 možno znížiť rozhodnutím Stabilizačnej a asociačnej rady: - keď v obchode medzi Spoločenstvom a Albánskom sa clá uplatňované na základné výrobky znížia alebo CE/AL/P2/sk 2 521 der Beilagen XXIII. GP - Staatsvertrag - Protokolle Slowakisch (Normativer Teil) 9 von 374 - prostredníctvom zníženia vyplývajúceho zo vzájomných koncesií na spracované poľnohospodárske výrobky. Zníženie stanovené v prvej zarážke sa vypočíta z časti cla stanoveného ako poľnohospodárska zložka, ktorá zodpovedá poľnohospodárskym výrobkom skutočne používaných vo výrobe dotknutých spracovaných poľnohospodárskych výrobkov, a odpočítané z ciel uplatňovaných na tieto základné poľnohospodárske výrobky. ČLÁNOK 3 Spoločenstvo a Albánsko si navzájom poskytnú informácie o administratívnych opatreniach prijatých na výrobky zahrnuté v tomto protokole. Týmito opatreniami sa zabezpečí rovnaké zaobchádzanie pre všetky zainteresované strany a sú čo najjednoduchšie a najflexibilnejšie. CE/AL/P2/sk 3 10 von 374 521 der Beilagen XXIII. They had two children: Charlie Garabed and Harry Haroutiune. Nigoghos worked most of his career at Stanley Works in New Britain from whence he retired. Stanley Works were manufac- turers of hand tools, builders' hardware, security devices, bolts, nuts, rivets and washers, power hand tools. Nigoghos died on May 13, 1997 in New Britain. Alcohol and Surāmeraya Siy = Alcohol or fermented drinks Surāmeraya = to abstain from drinking alcohol, one of the five percepts of Buddhism • In Vera Sutta (AN 10.92), the Buddha preached fivefold set of vows to Anāthapindika the householder. • Along with the five percepts for layperson, the alcohol consumption is also restricted in the eightfold set of the 1-day fasting vows, the ten vows of the novice as well as the vows for the monks and nuns. • Buddhists believe that he who follow the five percepts would receive the reward of a place in heaven after death, and can eventually gain nirvana. Transgression of Vows surāmerayamjja contains three proper nouns Surā = the whole range of alcoholic drinks from beer-like beverages produced by fermentation Majja = wine-like drinks or spirits Meraya = distilled drinks produced from sugar of fruit • In general, all drinks which cause heedlessness and cloud the mind can be considered as alcohol. • Drinking this kind of beverage whether one knows it as alcohol or not can be considered as transgression of vows.

    Imperial Hops: How Beer Traveled the World, Especially to Asia Jeffrey M. Pilcher This is a very preliminary discussion of a book I hope to write on the globalization of beer. The first section outlines the literature and my research plan as sort of a first draft of a grant proposal intended to convince some funding agency to pay for me to travel the world drinking beer. The rest of the paper illustrates some of these ideas with three Asian case studies. I started with Asia in response to an invitation to participate in a recent SSRC Interasia Workshop in Istanbul and because the languages and meager secondary literature make it the hardest part of the project to research. There are mostly questions where the conclusions should be, and I welcome all suggestions. In June of 2013, Turkish crowds gathered in Istanbul’s Taksim Square to protest the growing authoritarianism of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Refusing to surrender their democratic freedoms, they opened bottles of Efes Pilsner and raised mock toasts to the tee-totaling Islamist politician: “Cheers, Tayyip!”1 The preference for European-style beer, rather than the indigenous, anise-flavored liquor arak, illustrates the complex historical movements that have shaped global consumer culture, and at times, political protests. Turkish entrepreneurs founded the Efes brewery in 1969, less than a decade after guest workers first began traveling to Germany and returning home with a taste for lager beer.2 This brief episode illustrates both the networks of migration, trade, and colonialism that carried European beer around the world in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and the new drinking cultures that emerged as a result.
