NEED HELP MOVING? West Lindsey’s Heather Jackson is running the pilot project encouraging residents to contact Finding the right the council for housing assistance. home for you

Many older and disabled residents are living in properties that are no longer suitable for them for a variety of reasons. It may be that someone is living in a place that’s too big for them, or has inaccessible bathroom facilities, or they need to be in a single storey building. Now help is at hand to find the right home thanks to the council’s Assisted Move Scheme. This is a pilot project that aims to help tenants moving between or into social housing. Cllr Malcolm Parish, chairman of the Prosperous Communities Committee, said: “There are many reasons why some people might be worried about moving house. “Some people simply don’t want the hassle of moving or are worried about their pets or even where to look. We are here to help make the move as easy as possible and tailored to your needs.” If you think that this scheme could help you, then the deadline for applications is Friday 1 August. i For more information visit www.west-lindsey.gov.uk/assistedmove, email [email protected].
