Breaking the boundaries between the worlds of video games and music, Video Mods makes its triumphant return to MTV2 this Friday, June 24th at 8 PM ET as a monthly series. By mixing some of today’s most popular video games and characters with the latest music videos and artists, each episode of Video Mods represents a breakthrough in entertainment by providing an entirely experience for music and video game fans alike.

On deck for the premiere episode of this season’s Video Mods: Franz Ferdinand’s hit “Take Me Out” is reconstructed with the Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith video game; Sum 41’s “Pieces” is overhauled with Destroy All Humans!, Good Charlotte’s “Predictable” features and My Chemical Romance’s “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” is recreated with Death Jr. In addition, for the first time ever Video Mods will feature – Breaking Benjamin’s “So Cold” based on Half-Life 2. In upcoming episodes, MTV2’s Video Mods takes on videos from the , , , Taking Back Sunday, and The Killers with games like NBA Street V3, Medal of Honor European Assault, Dance Dance Revolution, Silent Hill, and Lineage II: the Chaotic Chronicle.
