Coca-Cola Joins All-Russian #MagnitCare Social Program Krasnodar, May 14, 2020: Magnit Retail Chain together with Coca-Cola Russia will aid socially vulnerable citizens in different regions of the country. In order to support the population, the project partner will add its own goods of the “Dobry” juice line to the food packages provided by the Chain. This will help expand the aid provided to people in need under the #MagnitCare Program, which launch was announced by Magnit at the beginning of April. Tatarstan will be the first region where the joint aid will be provided. Coca-Cola Russia has donated 13k liters of juice to the Rus Food Fund for their further donation to families in a difficult life situation and to pensioners. As of today, the #MagnitCare Project has already covered six regions of the country: Krasnodar region, Tula region, Ivanovo region, Moscow region, Orenburg region and Yaroslavl region, as well as Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The food aid is aimed to support citizens who are the most vulnerable to the virus, and is provided in close contact with the regional administrations. The Retail Chain has already donated food packages to almost 150k people in need. These are the elderly, who live alone, stay-at- home people with special needs, families with children with special needs, families in a socially dangerous situation, low-income families with three or more children, low-income single mothers, etc. Mondelēz Rus (the Mondelēz International Group) has already joined the #MagnitCare Social Project. “We are glad that Coca-Cola Russia has joined our social project. We have long-lasting partnership relations, and, now, we will together help socially vulnerable citizens during the pandemic.
